I literally put this in the original post:
How fucking clear do you want me to be? Not being funny but do you have genuine reading and comprehension problems?
I think you know what you did here and you've been basically pining for an argument for some reason by being super pedantic, you...
lol You've missed the entire context of the conversation, OBVIOUSLY it's our problem because they're our players but it's not our problem if the players kick off, that was my point.
Also I have no idea why you think I was speaking in past tense, I was talking about going forward if they defy...
Nope, if they defy out orders they should be punished quite frankly. The players have to take some responsibility - that's their problem of they miss out on playing for their NT not ours.
Can you imagine the absolute meltdown if we walked away from signing the Serie A defender of the year purely because we weren't worried about him missing matches because of intl duty, come on be serious
We pay their wages though so we could have said no, they belong to us, not them. I guess though we are willing to placate our players especially the South American players, football is more like a religion over there and they wouldn't be too happy to miss out.
I think now going forward of this...
We shouldn't have let them go but the club has historically been fair to their players and always let them go on intl duty think we should have put our foot down this time though.
Of course it isn't, it's not better than ours though and most people would have us down for a top 6 finish so maybe they have the 7th/8th best squad in the league.
In that case he would have accepted us don't you think?
We could potentially offer more to Conte than Arsenal, and that would have been a better time for him because he would have had a pre season as opposed to taking over in October and no doubt he'd need money to spend to get his own players...
