Remember when Benny was playing for us and we could predict the outcome of the game by how he was wearing his hair 😂 I'm sure I remember seeing some sort of spreadsheet someone had pulled together with the win ratio for afro, cornrows, bun etc
Yeah I read that interview. I’m glad she turned them down. Thank you Chelsea for wanting to loan her out 😂
Still think it would be hard for a lot of players to turn Chelsea down, even if they were to be loaned out.
I guess Spurs have tried to do it as fair as possible, given the amount of tickets allocated by the FA, and its probably right to try and get as many there who want to go to support the team in a final, rather than just a nice cheap day out for the family which is what a lot of womens games seem...
They must have released some later, or the website was playing up then because the pictures I was sent on a group chat only had the odd single seat left.
They'll be digital (assuming you mean for the final). This is what it said on the information email they sent out -
Digital Tickets
Our allocation will be issued as digital tickets for this fixture.
As for home games at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, a link will be sent to the
assigned supporter...
I’m sure it does. It’s obviously hard to win any league, but I think in the WSL at the moment, any club who puts in an effort to invest which have more joy than they do in the PL.
Considering we lost 4-0 at home to them in December, its hard to be too disappointed with that, even if it does feel awful to concede in the final minute. It shows how we've improved this year and teams do have to work hard to beat us. After going down 1-0 early in the game, in previous seasons...
Vinberg is absolutely cooking their right back. What a talent she is! Major kudos to our scouting team for identifying her, and also to the club for (apparently) getting her ahead of the other big clubs who were sniffing around. There are some really exciting youngsters in this team who look...
Ticket information for the final has been released -
Our ticket sales phases will run as follows:
Monday 22 April, 10am: Season Ticket Holders for the Women’s team will be invited to purchase two tickets each
Tuesday 23 April, 10am: Supporters who have purchased tickets for a minimum of two...
Its hard to say about WHL because we were in a very different place than we are now, but I think its more just that those stadiums will always been seen as the true home of the teams, so fans who don't usually go to the womens games are probably more likely to go if its held at what they see is...
I agree, but that's womens football for you. Sometimes I think the organisers are more interested in making it a nice day out for families and then remember after that there is also a football game on.
I keep thinking back to last year and how awful our season was and if you'd told me that we'd be in the FA Cup final I never would have believed you.
Also the first women game I ever went to was an FA Cup final in 2011 and the attendance was something like 13k (and I'm pretty sure my ticket...
It can but even then it could still end up being unfair. There were more people who were at the Arsenal and Leicester games than go to Brisbane Road so those who go more often still may find it harder to get tickets.
I don't think there's a way to make it completely fair for those fans...
I would prefer if they did it that way, the only issue is that I know of people who go regularly who mostly just buy them on the day at the ticket office and I'm not sure you need to do much more than give them money so there would be no record that you've been. Would be fairer if they could do...
