Huddlestone wont get a look in..

What Now For Tom Huddlestone? Here's an interesting view on his situation... http://www.adifferentleague.co.uk/p6_1_11845_tottenham-club-focus-where-does-the-future-lie-for-tom-huddlestone.html Could he play regularly at CB for us?

    ratings vs bolton

Alot of 9's for Bale but for me only worth an 8....doesn't track back enough especially in the last 10/15 mins. but perhaps with the extra man he had instructions to stay up.

I thought we had in the region of 70% possession against Villa???? As for Mr Murphy well there will always be ex-players with chips on their shoulders. But we do keep coming back to 4-4-2 or 4-5(your choice)-1 don't we. Personally I prefer the latter but then again I am also willing to...

Only saw the 2nd half...I thought King & Kaboul looked abit tired?...Sandro I'm sure just needs some games...not always easy to get the timing of tackles spot on after a period out of the team.

Adebayor, can he drill/drive a ball?

Doesn't like the ball under his feet I think ... he does have long legs ... maybe that's the problem?

MOM to Kaboul if only for putting the frighteners on that cry baby Heskey!

If we are above Chelsea come the January window...

Have a little faith baby! If we qualify for CL he'll stay. He enjoys his footy too much so why wud he choose to go to a club where the system is so dominated by the manager. He will not get the freedom that HR gives him. As for Chelski if JT is proven to have made racist remarks there's every...

A Keeper's (Ex) View I don't like keepers who stay on their goal line. Any keeper worth his salt should be able to command his 6 yard box on crosses & corners, especially if they're big fellas! That said, at 40, Brad's legs will not be working like they used to so he's trusting to his...

yep, last 15 mins were ugly...Spurs of old! I still don't understand why Adebayor plays so wide alot of the time so I assume he's been told to do that. Seems odd though when you have Lennon & Bale playing.

    Ratings v Arsenal

Good points on both sides guys (if somewhat harsh at times). Of course if VDV could achieve full match fitness then alot of this controversy would probably go away. Maybe we should be slamming the training & medical staff more rather than poor old HR.

GDS on the bench on Sunday please HR. Very impressed with his play on the right.

    Team style for Arsenal...

No changes from Wigan for the start (assuming everyone fit). As indicated elsewhere the bench could be more crucial for this game. I am making the assumption that VDV will not complete 90 mins. so depending on the score at the time HR should have a number of options available to him. Don't know...

Wigan v Spurs - match ratings

What A Strange Game cont... ...attack. In general though I liked the look of this 4-5-1 team. We played a much higher line at the back and this gave the midfield the opportunity to break Wigan down in the centre of the park(which they did). Well done team for getting the 9 points we needed to...

Wigan v Spurs - match ratings

What A Strange Game At times looked like a practice game to me. Wigan gave us far too much space (as the match stats confirm) which as we all know can lead to our downfall...complacency. Why did we try to walk the ball into the net? In the 2nd half most of the attacks started from the left as...

    Clean Sheets

Dawson I'm glad somebody has pointed out that we have had clean sheets without Dawson. He needs to up his game. He doesn't always read the pace & tempo of the game. Result....he has to turn & tackle back (last ditch) & other players are forced to move across to cover him which of course leaves...

Shown up for what they are...

It's disappointing to see Bassong out of it now. 2009/2010 he partnered Dawson for most of the games including a run 6 without conceding. He also is one of the few injury free players we have. I can understand his position given what almost happened in the transfer window. Re-invigorate him Harry!

    Injuries

Well 2 games in and now VDV has picked up a common injury. Do you remember HR saying when he arrived that he had not benefited from a full pre-season training when asked to explain why he couldn't play a full 90 mins? I suspect we now know the reason he was so cheap or maybe the 'generic'...

Why Harry Redknapp is no longer the manager to take Spurs Forward

HR cud actually be the perfect England manager. Everything he fails to do at club level wud effectively be taken out of his hands. His strengths ( eg motivation & allowing players to go out & play) wud b perfect for k/o competitions. Harry 4 England!!!! (quickly please)

Why Harry Redknapp is no longer the manager to take Spurs Forward

This blog post is spot on especially the section on injuries about which I have raised concerns in an earlier post. Looks like the easy going regime is reflected on the pitch...5 wins out of the last 17 competitive games! We need approx. 2 points a game to finish in the top 4 so now we have to...

Is it possible for Redknapp to shut his mouth?

Let me throw in some thoughts on HR. 1. His relationship with the press is all part & parcel of the package that is HR. They love him (one liners) and he loves them. I don't for one moment think this is going to stop besides which he's too old to change. 2. Given his reputedly murky past when...
