    You just named players who are all on 200k a week and are a hell of a lot more than a pacey attacker. Why not just sign messi. You are suggesting we sign world class players who have the ability to beat someone in a contested area which is what I suggested. They are not just pacey attackers.

    Liverpool play counter attack and rely on pace over the top. We play with build up and therefore have no room to run into. What we need is players who have fast feet and skill and can beat a player from a standing start much like Dembele, Barkley or a modric type.

    Can we ban the words pacey attacker please, everyone is obsessed. We have signed some over the last few years and it doesn't work in our system. I just want quality, skilful players. Our pace comes through our full backs. Our attackers do not play wide.

    I don't think Klinsman, Gazza, Waddle, Ginola, Bale, Modric etc ever dreamed of playing for us or were probably that delighted to be coming to us but all bought into us once they were here.     To be fair I have only watched Lamar 3 times and he seemed pretty quiet. His YouTube stuff looks good. The problem is we all want a quick winger type but we don't play with wingers. Our speed needs to come from the full backs.

    Mahrez is the guy we need, he has some x factor about him and can really change a game on his own. He has plenty of Prem experience and seems like a decent character. Praying this can happen.

    I think he would be great, he has a bit of everything. He is fast, strong, hard working and has a fair bit of skill. Definitely better than Remy and J Rod. I don't think he will come though.

    Thanks, as I say I have not seen a lot of him and was a little worried that they were similar players. If he has vision and the ability to play good through balls as well as his dribbling ability then I am all for it.

    I have not seen loads of Lamela but is he really a 30 million upgrade on Townsend. They seem similar players. I feel we need a number 10 who can make the most of Saldado's runs. We need an Ozil type player not a winger.

    The new stadium could well be the reason to spend. We must be looking at anywhere between 150 and 250 million for sponsorship and compared to a few new transfers this is huge money. The better the team the more we will get.
