Brexit is the worst thing to happen to this country for a long, long time. I’m touchy about it. And anyone that’s mad enough to have voted for it, should be too
I would guess that what's happening is that some fairly obvious issues are being worked on behind the scenes.
Lots of people have noticed them: attack the full back, be more aggressive, impose yourself, work a bit harder, back yourself
There's a technical element to some of those, but it's...
This would be amazing, but:
1) would he not somewhat compete with Bergvall?
2) I think lots of teams would be after him
3) Leeds look like they’re going up - if I was Leeds I’d hold onto him, he’ll be worth more after a season in the prem
4) had I mentioned Leeds look like they’re going up - if...
Maybe in the press, but not on this board
I think the criticism of him has been fairly objective and justified i.e. needs to work harder, take on his man more aggressively, make a greater contribution in general play. Those sorts of observations I think are reasonable.
I think where it's been...
100%
Ideqlly he’d have been acclimatised more gradually.
Green shoots, which is great. Happy for him. Still much to improve, but starting to see that his ceiling could be encouragingly high
I don't disagree with that - but he's still likely the best shield we have for the back 4. If he's playing his way back into form, and still providing platform for the other midfielders, that'll work for now.
Whoever it is, allowing Sarr and Maddison to work their magic (in their own, unique...
He's a potentially very good player, who periodically adds something really positive for them, and when he's not, his presence is still felt.
You can really work with that.
The question for me remains: in which position is his ceiling highest? Still not sure personally, but I think he can...
Agree with all this, but that’s kind of the player I think Son is becoming - which I’m fine with, as long as:
1) he gets his numbers and
2) we have players around him that make up for his short comings in general play
It’s why I prefer him as a striker
this has to be right.
I wonder though, as it relates to Werner - if we got 50m for The Richi, much as I like him, selling him and buying Werner would be good business.
Then:
1) assess Solomon - though I recognise he’s similar(ish) to Werner; and
2) buy a more direct richi replacement or...
Johnson is starting to make the impact we’d hoped. Feels like he’s really moving in the right direction now.
Great performance. Destiny or johnson will if we’re picking one, otherwise a team effort
100%. I’ve been reprimanded on this site twice for using the C word. But I reckon there are times it’s justified.
This is ace. What a time to being out a top performance
