    No chance of that happening.

Let's All Laugh At... Let's all laugh at Chelsea thread

It's in the buying clubs interest to leave it until the last minute to drive the price down. Can't see anyone doing it now. Think Chelsea were waiting for us to bid for Gallagher in the last window and as far as i am aware we didn't contact them. Smart move to increase the pressure.

If they need to sell their HG players to meet PSR how are they going to make a squad of 25 if you need 8 HG players. They really are in the S**t.

Do you think Poch regrets going there? He obviously is not choosing the players with the difference in success or failure being in others hands. Is he happy about possibly ruining his reputation for a bag full of cash? I think if you were able to turn back te clock he wouldn't have gone there.

It would take an idiot to cough up 40-50m for Gallagher in the two week window that Chelsea have to supposedly raise 100m for PSR. The market has got them by the balls, I can't see them raising it elsewhere either, Chalobah and Broja maximum of 40-50m IMO. Can't understand what they are playing...

    Antonio Nusa

Think we left the Nusa transfer long before the media realised. They were keen to perpetuate the clicks but once the price started going north of €30m we were out. Even at €22m with the assumption he was fully fit which WLB indicated was our level it was still a massive gamble as most of our...

Player Watch Player Watch: Lucas Bergvall

It just goes to show that we have a fantastic infrastructure set up with the training ground, stadium and the revenue streams that brings. It was always going to take time for that to bear fruits despite the fact that many initially mocked it as a game changer. It has taken Levy far too long to...

Who in their right mind is going to shell out £35m now for a player that has back and knee issues. This is probably the reason he hasn't been a regular starter for Brugge. Surely you would see what happens for the rest of the season and if all is ok go back with a bid in the summer.

    Conor Gallagher

Would be an ideal scenario, but unfortunately it's not going to happen IMO. Hjobjerg already declared he is staying and sceptical that Chelsea would sell to us and that Gallagher would want to come.

Sounds like Brugge getting greedy. Could be another Gift Orban scenario. Hope Brentford pull out and we don't go back in for him.

    Conor Gallagher

If Chelsea still need to raise funds by 30th June, the summer transfer window opens on the 14th June. Interested buying clubs are gonna take it down to the wire and squeeze them massively. If I was Chelsea i would try to get a deal now to take all the uncertainty out of it. Could be in for an...

Not €30m much. Calculated risks must always have their limits.

Bit ironic he chose Brentford over us.

    Antonio Nusa

If Nusa really wanted to join us he would have turned Brentford down just like Dragusin did with Bayern.

How has it gone for Fati at Brighton? There's no guarantee, things don't always work out.

It might be we have the opportunity to get a midfielder in this window which is deemed a higher priority.

    Conor Gallagher

Dewsbury Hall all day over Gallagher IMO, both hard workers but DH has better end product.
