He's a prick. Chronic waste of talent and annoyingly he's probably richer than some harder workers because of his 'infamy'. Hope he just sods off soon.

And I believe it was suggested that there were many tax benefits to Beckham for doing that at the time, so it wasn't all altruistic.

    The Naming Rights Thread

Ironically, if it is the Google Stadium, nobody will be able to find it on Google Maps because they will all be searching for White Hart Lane. Although if Google are reading this...I think that's a bad thing so please don't ban me from your magnificent new stadium.

So...Deontay Wilder is a complete prick I see.

Garland is the right call but it's a sad indictment of coaching over here that we haven't developed any alternative options in the 8 years previous.

Was a real low point for the club that night. Was probably the closest I got to wanting Levy completely gone.

What our opponents' fans are saying about us 18/19

I think there are two parts to this. With regards to Llorente's one I agree with you. Having looked at it hundreds of times they couldn't see a clear and obvious error so the goal was given. I think that was very clear and within their description of how VAR works. Personally I still think the...

What our opponents' fans are saying about us 18/19

City fans can't complain about that VAR call last night considering it was exactly the same situation that gained them a penalty in the first leg. I still think it needs to be made more clear to fans and everyone involved who is making the decision to call stuff back, but across the two legs it...

It was something loads of people were getting away with for a long time by all accounts. Quins were just crap at it.

Hope he's sacked the homophobic tit. Let's just hope that God doesn't update his policies to include Loud Mouthed Fullbacks in his 'going to hell' quota. That would really upset Mr Folau.

The last one was probably a tour too far in terms of the commercialism of it all. Too many matches, too many players who didn't deserve to be there (most notably the later call-ups) and not enough focus on the three big games.

Yeah he was the one I thought of other than Hogg. From what I saw of Scotland he was badly let down by most of the pack around him.

Gatland did do very well in largely picking players on merit rather than nationality. Weirdly Sir Clive picked on both merit and nationality and that failed miserably. Basically it's a very tricky job. Based on the 6Ns just gone you probably wouldn't pick many Irish players to be honest, but...

It's a weird one being Lions head coach. Presumably you know your national players better than any others so feel obliged to pick them, but I suspect there is also pressure to at least include players from each country. I can't imagine a Lions coach picking many Scotland players on merit at the...

Yeah we've picked up a few youngsters in the last week (we signed 12 players in total last week) so will be interesting to see how they develop. For years Quins have had a great academy, but it's been slowing up a bit recently in terms of players coming through (Smith being the exception) so...

To be honest we've had such a shoddy selection of hookers over the last few years that as long as he can throw relatively straight and knows how to scrummage then he'll probably be our starting hooker for years to come.

So @E17yid is Scott Baldwin any good? Quins have signed him for next season and all I know about him is that he's not great with lions.

I think Farrell at 10 is fine for England. I just wonder whether he should have the pressure of captaincy taken off him and allow him to concentrate on managing the game with his boot rather than his mouth. As others have said, England just seemed to lack the ability to react in games when...
