Do you remember that 50/50 challenge between Stuart Pearce and Pat van den Hauwe? Both nicknamed Psycho. I swear the whole stadium held their breath as they knew neither would back off.
It was one of the first games I took my son to and I remember him saying “Wow! Dad”. It’s a shared memory we still talk about.

They still hold a grudge over 1991? Their own CB put the ball in his own net, ffs. If Gazza hadn't been an idiot and got himself carted off, he'd have ripped them apart.
Just like Man City, I've never understood these fans who hate teams years later after losing a game. I could understand it if something controversial happend, but simply losing in a final shouldn't be enough to hate a team haha.

  • I haven’t felt this nervous since my birthday when I was waiting for my wife’s decision on the back door ‘treat’
  • I hope she used lube and went easy on you mate.
  • Loving this.
The best team playing with the players we have available
  • f*** off Madison you whingeing little twat
  • Maddison already instructing the referee on what to do and take note of.....
  • Another face that needs a good slap.
  • Og Murillo
  • OH shite.
    Poor bogger.
  • Well thats that. Here comes a fisting.
  • Son should have been booked for a cynical dive
Makes you laugh and is typical of top 6 bias. Alan smith says Elanga off balance when tripped but pretty much applauding son’s cheating.
  • Woooooooooooooooooooooddddddddddddddyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • GET IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Rocka get your pecker out!
    Rocka get your pecker out!
  • jumpiung around like a loon.
Had dogs abuse from my spurs loving mate since they scored
    WOOOODSSSS
  • I told you to farking wait!!!
    Anyway GET FCKING IN!
  • What? Where did their defence just go?
That's what they do. Spurs have been doing it all season. Just need to be ruthless when we get in every time.
  • Lol, they’ve literally just blamed Yates’ for getting punched.
  • Ooh. Bentancur can be quite silky.
  • Ah they're showing it.
It's Yates's fault and the bastard asked for the ref to take a look.
Not a word about Madison punching him
If you had any doubt about the big 6 bias there it is right in front of you
  • All sorted. Should have been a sending off for us
  • Imagine being able to bring Hoijberg and Bentacur off the bench.
  • Maddison hardly touched him if we are being rational and objective. If a Forest player got sent off for that id be furious
  • oh dear
  • Buggers.
  • dont drop - no reason that we cant score
  • That was a cracking goal, to be fair
  • deflating
  • We’ll score again lads, we’re plucky fucckers.
  • Didn't even last ten minutes.
    Fu*king annoying.
  • We don't deserve to be losing
  • Ah, get f**ked…
  • Ridiculous booking. Got the ball, unlike udogie who didn’t get booked. f*** off hooper you cheating, corrupt top six ****.
  • f*** it. We don’t deserve this.
  • f*** me, when your defenders are scoring worldies you know it’s not your day
  • 3 on their f***ing own. Wake the f*** up
  • 3 Spurs players waiting by themselves at the back post to smash it in.
  • Tackling and getting the ball = yellow card
    Punching = nothing.
    Got it.
  • When someone said there was more goals in this, this wasn't really what I was hoping for.
  • Carving us open.
  • Could have been 2-1 up, now 3-1 down.
Oh well. Find it difficult to be too harsh on Chris Wood mind. It happens.
  • If we score it will shut these plastic pricks up and make them nervous
  • Fine margins, crap refs
  • Hojberg and Bentancur are running the show since they came on.
  • Nothing club Spurs, playing for forth year in year out and ultimately doing f uck all
  • After that initial period we played a little more football. Ordinarily it’s a loss against a very good side. As I say most post match comments though the problem is the crap results against sides we should beat.
  • Also I don’t want to see any whinging about the Maddison Yates incident 😅 Honestly Yates went down like a sack of spuds. It wasn’t a forceful “punch” at all. If a Forest player had been sent for that I’d be fuming.
  • I'm not sure, I'm not going to make excuses, we have had lots of bad decisions against us this season but I don't think the ref did that bad today
    Seriously?
MGW was allowed to be fouled
Brennan had studs up to Danilo off ball
    The punch that wasn't
    Elanga frequently cleaned out
    CHO fouled at the touchline
    Foul on Neco
  • What's the rule for punching an opponent?
  • There isn't such a rule.
Tickling someone's tummy doesn't qualify as violent conduct.
  • Spurs' 2nd and 3rd goals were quality strikes. Great technique shown by quite excellent footballers. Both players wouldn't have even considered Forest when Spurs signed them. It's almost as though they're playing in a different League to us
  • As much as it hurts, i agree. Good goals both
  • They were just a bit better than us in both boxes. Been one of the stories of our season (alongside shit refsThey were just a bit better than us in both boxes. Been one of the stories of our season (alongside shit refs
  • Feel quite deflated having watched that second half.
  • Best team won.
Spurs are decent going forward and we can't defend, only one outcome really.
  • Clattenburg climbed out from under his rock yet?Clattenburg climbed out from under his rock yet?
  • When Postecoglou changed the Spurs midfield, I couldn't see how we could match it without changing formation, because we don't currently have the players, imho.
  • Would have taken your hand off for a point away against one of the tourist teams.
  • you need to be absolutely perfect and have luck on your side to beat a team like Spurs right now.
  • Luton were 4 minutes away from getting a point away to Spurs. We could easily have got a point today if we'd defended better and had taken our chances so not sure what people are mocking that we could never in a million years got anything out of the game today.
  • Tottenham just that bit better at key moments.
  • Anyone got any crisps ?
    Yeah… sour grape flavour.
  • Reality Check - We were never going to win AWAY against a good attacking team.
  • Two good goals the difference but seemed to me they kind of stopped pushing at 3-1
  • Spurs are beatable and should be a team a counter attacking side like us relishes
  • Tots are likely to finish in the top 4.
That is a massive gulf in class between us and them.
No too pissed at this defeat
  • We're running out of winninable games fast, didn't expect anything today though
    Really? So today was winnable?
FFS you'd think we'd just failed to beat a shit team at home
  • Disappointing but spurs away was always a big ask, move on to wolves
  • Going for it against Spurs is a scary idea considering we parked the bus and Sels stopped it from being about 30 goals for spurs
  • "What a pig of a result. We slaughtered Millwall Spurs and had 257 shots on target. The luck was against us though and they scored the only time they got out of their penalty area. Still, we managed to get the debt down by nearly £1m during half-time"

  • "We're in it to win things", Postecoglu definitely has a promising career in stand-up if this football gig doesn't work out.
  • Ange has done a great job, let’s be honest.
It seems last summer was the first window in a while where they’ve actually made some logical signings.
VDV and Maddison were really good buys, and he’s getting the most from guys like Porto/Udogie/Bissouma ect by playing to their strengths.
Moving Son to CF to replace Kane is a bit of a masterstroke as well. I expect them to comfortably finish 4th, which is a great achievement.
  • Ange is no more special than Conte or Mourinho
  • All @SA Gunner needs to see is a couple of forward passes under a new manager and he's predicting a renaissance
  • You have to remember that for whatever reason the Spuds are graded on a curve. It's not really an impressive thing for an adult to know the alphabet but for a school aged Scouser, it's miraculous and that's basically the way the Spuds are appraised. They're such routine failures that people conjure successes for them that nobody with standards and a trophy case not riddled with cobwebs would even register as praiseworthy.
  • they have their eye on him outdoing Arteta because they want to be better than us more than anything.Dont think mate will be good enough in that respect.
A housecat can be given a 1,000,000 year headstart & it'll never stand on equal footing with a lion
  • He has lucked out getting in VVD, perfect for his set up.
  • To me its the central midfielders that control Sp**s fate this yr. When Maddison, Sarr and Bissouma were on top form early, Sp**s were flying. When they are turning the ball over and unable to cover the defensive space, Sp**s look as vulnerable as ****.
  • The Sp**s match is gonna be the one I think, which decides if we live or die.
  • Some of the mental gymnastics from Sp**s fans this season have been quite astonishing to see. They claim that almost all their players are world class, but they're languishing in 5th? I guees Amge must be a sh*te manager then not to have this elite team at the top? Nope, apparently he's the 2nd coming of the messiah. So, they have an elite squad and an elite manager and they're in 5th miles off 1st? It doesn't add up!
  • They're not even really a club at this point. They just occupy that stadium between concerts
  • Now it's an attraction that Tottenham hasn't won anything in ages.
People can come from all over the world to marvel at this attraction. Some people go see the pyramids, some people go to see Tottenham's trophy cabinet.
  • Better managers failed at the challenge, Mate. You're not special.
  • He's probably the best manager they've had in a while, ahead of Conte, Potch and Jose for me. I say so because of his ability to lean them towards more incisive and consistent attacks.
His problem? His ability to balance it out defensively. It would be interesting to see how he sets Sp**s up in the coming seasons to maintain an attacking structure, but also be able to improve at the back.
  • Dynamic tottenham and their magical free-flowing style which has revolutionized and will forever change world football : 62 goals.
Boring boring Arsenal and their stupid Legoman’s brand of anti-football : 75 goals.
But I guess when you factor in that every single team rolls over for us while playing the game of their season as they rise to the challenge of mighty Sp**s, it all makes sense
  • Beyonce is a bigger Sp**s legend than Harry Kane for those 5 concerts she did that kept them afloat
  • I couldn't date a Sp**s fan to be honest, no matter what she looked like.
I genuinely couldn't talk to her in a nice way knowing she loves Son, I am too petty to overcome that
  • i dislike sp.rs. But i watch all their matches because of Ange's style of football. So to a football fan or neutral or even a rival, makes no difference i like his football
  • They are very protective of Ange in their forum. The ones who criticise him are treated like pedos. I’m convinced if I said 1/100 of the things I said about Arteta in there about Angie they would have banned me.

We should have you @Riou and @Sapient Hawk infiltrate their forums
  • Just watched the highlights of their game vs Fulham and my goodness they just give teams so much space it's incredible. I know NLDs are usually tight, nervy affairs but if they give us the space they've been affording other teams we are going to put 3/4 past them.
    4 is a conservative estimate.
If Postecoglu remains obstinate & allows his team to play naive football, I wouldn't be surprised at all if we hit them for 7.
  • Nah let's be real, we need to be at our best if we want to beat them at their ground. They're still a threat despite having their clown moments.
  • The people I feel sorry for are the random South Koreans that now support Sp**s because of Son, people who absolutely never knew what a Tottenham Hotspur even was before 2016.
The pain Son has forced these people to endure, is why I genuinely feel he should be convicted of being a war criminal.
Skipped national duty by a loop hole, can't even beat Qatar and Jordan and win a freakin Asian Cup for them and now forcing his country to support the most loser club football team of all time.
    Absolute SCUMBAG.

They don’t half spout a load of complete bollocks. Conveniently forgotten that Lego head had them finishing 8th, 8th, 5th (choking massively as we finished 4th), 2nd (choking massively again) in his first 4 seasons having spent an absolute fortune.
Ange hasn’t even completed his first full season, has watched us sell our best player and had to oversee a huge overhaul while encountering a ridiculous number of injuries (often to key players), and has us in 4th at present.

We’re far from the finished article, but miles ahead of where I expected us to be at this stage of Ange’s tenure.
