I didn't realise it was the top 2 ranked countries that got an extra spot, I thought it was only whoever finished first.

Still very confident, those percentages with OPTA will be back into the 90’s by the quarters/semi stage. Don’t get me wrong though, 4th is and must absolutely be the target still

Is anyone else nervous about finishing 6th if we lose today 😅

tbh.. so be it if we finish 6th. I’d be fine with that. It’s big progress from the Conte days and we’ve suffered horrifically from injuries this year and learning a new attacking style. I’d happily enter the EL and continue building. 4th would be unreal given where we were a year ago.

No, not really. We would still be 3 points ahead of Man U with a game in hand and a far superior goal difference.

I think there’s a good chance Man U will drop more points in the next few weeks v Brentford (a), Chelsea (a), Liverpool (h), Bournemouth (a), Newcastle (h).

Anyway, there’s arguably just as much chance Man U will be caught by West Ham as Man U catching us. If West Ham beat Burnley at home today, they’ll be just 2 points behind Man U.

Hardly a vintage performance by Utd yesterday. Must have the slowest back 4 in history plus Casemiro.
Everton should have got something from that. Even their set pieces were crap.

10-11 points behind 3rd-1st with a game in hand.

With only 10 games left we can't challenge for the title and can only nick 3rd if one of the current top three completely fall apart.

While I agree with you in general, Arsenal were 11 points clear last season with 8 games to go and lost by 5 points. So a 16 point swing in 8 games.
