Everyone in the middle (except Bentancur) excellent. Everyone playing out wide shit.

As a side not Hoijberg was outstanding when he came on.

There was no one head and shoulders above the rest, so I voted team effort

Strange performance. I didn't think it was overly convincing yet could have been 7-1 if our players had their shooting boots on...

Need to sort out the first half performances. It's all too scripted and predictable.

VDV motm for me. Head and shoulders above anyone else. He's the one player really stands out as potential world class. And the one I'd be most concerned about money bags teams sniffing around. He was brilliant today.

Only saw most of second half but:
Romero was shaky and had some dangerous mistakes but scored.

VdV was pretty much perfect.

Johnson didn't let that miss get to him and instead got himself a nice highlight material with that assist.

Werner had one good shot saved and then made a good run for the goal.

Son did what he does best, wish he wouldn't always keep his head down so he could find other players more often but you can't complain when he keeps doing magical stuff every year.

Good subs and in-game management from Ange this time around.

VDV was our most consistent player over the 90 but Johnson turned the game in our favor with some dogged persistence followed by a pinpoint cross so I feel he was the MOM

Feels like VDV wins almost all of these
Someone said this in the match thread - but he is a cheat code, as long as we can keep him healthy.

At their peak - I think Romero is a better defender, but Romero has a bit of inconsistency in him, that VdV does not - and when you add in VdV's recovery pace - he covers up a lot of mistakes - his and others.
