There is nothing to say Levy wouldn't retain his shares in the club and it's just Lewis looking to sell of his controlling stake.
Isn't a bit more complex as Levy owns ENIC not Spurs directly, unless Lewis is looking at selling ENIC.

Sure someone can work out how many shares are in private hands , according to the last accounts ENIC Sports Inc held 182,153,431 ordinary shares representing 85.56% of those in issue , if there is a takeover and say it was around £4 billion private shareholders should be in for a bit of money.
The total number of shares issued are covered in the attached.

Thank you.
So there are approx 30,733,187 ordinary shares in private hands , who's got them all, own up.

Going by shares issued the Levy family trust owns approx 25% of Spurs through ENIC.

If they were the right players.................

Pumping money in/being taken over is no guarantee of anything.

With Paratici and Lange I think we could turn up the dial and hit well. I appreciate our experience with big money signings and Man United’s joke scouting but City and more recently Arsenal have shown how to do it and make it work.

I have 100. My dad bought them for me when I turned ten (if I recall correctly). Being the naive bugger I was, he told me to expect a call from the coaching staff on Thursdays, to get my input on team selection.

And yes, the following Thursday i waited by the phone. I did receive a call. From my Dad. He laughed and told me, ‘never ever lose that dreamer inside of you. but, also remember to never just take someone’s word for it… including your dad!’

Your 100 are probably now 600 as there was a share split to make the shares easier to trade when the club was was fully quoted on the stock exchange.

The timing would make sense with Lewis cashing in and the club trying to distance themselves from him amidst his charges.

Maybe Paratici has gathered an Ocean's Eleven type posse of billionaires and he's spearheading the bid.

Dear SpursSince1980,

We have recently reviewed our records and found that your father provided an incorrect phone number, meaning we have been unable to contact you about upcoming team selections and transfer plans.

As a valid shareholder your input is vital. Without your expertise we simply cannot reach the heights to which we aspire. Your lack of input (thus far) can be directly attributed to that period where for some bizarre reason we only signed players with names starting with " N' "

We have rectified the data records issue highlighted above, and due to technological advances, now contact active shareholders via videoconferencing. Having reviewed your location we are pleased to report that your nearest public conferencing capability is located within the lamp-post outside your home.

With the game against Crystal Palace of upmost importance, your voice is critical to our combined success. Therefore tomorrow evening at 5pm GMT please stand in-front of your local public conferencing capability (the lamp post) and clearly state the unique password provided at the bottom of this email.
Note: some users have reported issues accepting the call. therefore please loudly, and repeatedly state the password for a minimum of five minutes.

Many thanks,

Daniel.

At least you got shares. I was told my dad was in Star Trek, he would turn it on just as the final credits were coming on, and would quickly yell “there I am” before I could see. Letting me tell everyone at school I had a dad who was on the tv, letting me do posters and all sorts.

I’ve said this many times, but well-run big clubs rarely get taken over. The last one I can remember is maybe Arsenal. Most often takeovers happen due to financial struggles or on long-term on-pitch decline. Most prospective owners want to take advantage of weakness.

No disrespect to the ITK, we know there have been people having conversations with Levy over the years, like Cain Hoy, but I still find it hard to believe anyone is gonna pay 4bn in the current financial climate.

The only thing that could significantly alter the landscape was if there was a London NFL franchise further down the line than is widely known. But then again, hard to believe Levy wouldn’t want to bring something like that home himself.
ENIC have been here over 20 years so we will get a takeover at some point. It's not like it will never happen and if it does they'll have been here longer than most owners. Even with Levy he will want to retire at some point. I could see him staying a while longer as we transition but we will have a next owner.

Seeing what we had to watch during the 90’s I could’ve believed you were picking the players
