Frankfurt knocked out last night. Freiburg only just got through. Germans have 5 left, soon to be 4 when Madrid knock Leipzig out. Looking better for England for 5th CL place even though we are half a point average behind them. Italy leading, still got 7 clubs left.
Need some decent draws for our clubs in Europa and conference today.

To describe the current Ajax team as tough is stretching it. Worse Ajax team in living memory according to their fans. Good run out for Henderson. Gareth will be able to gauge his fitness running around after Luiz , Ollie Watkins and the rest.

Ajax are BAD now. They should not have got past Bodø/Glimt and when you look at their squad there are only four or five names you'll have even heard of, none of whom are elite standouts. Villa should go through, in fact I'd say 90/10 they go through.
But Villa having to go away there on the Thursday before they play us on the Sunday is something that we might be able to take advantage of.

The over egging on Man U recently was cringeworthy.
Villa where the better side when they played and they got lucky, but for some reason some couldnt see the wood from the trees.

Its very likely that 5th will get us a spot in the CL. The aim is of course always 4th and needs to still be 4th regardless but that 5th place spot being likely is at least a little reassuring
