Malaria can be pretty variable and intermittent, Drogba played for about a month whilst suffering from it without treatment because they didn't realise he had it!

I know I should cheer any of their nations to lose... but, uh... yeah... let's just say, I wouldn't feel overly sorry for either Biss or Sarr if they lose their respective matches in R16.

If Marocco beats Zambia (game just started) then Senegal will face the Ivory Coast in R16.
Senegal will still be favourites but the home nation getting a 2nd chance could be a tricky tie.

I have been to West Africa a few times and there is a tendency for people who get a high temperature ( and some Doctors too ) to diagnose themselves with malaria when on most occasions they have flu.

Think he’s going to look much better again with Romero and VDV behind him and Sarr alongside. I think he’s quality with the right parts around him but he was trying too much at times when they weren’t there.
