From what I watched of him he is more old school stopper.

But he seemed to read the game so well for a youngster. The old defensive coaching was always to ask yourself 'where's the danger?'
And Radu seemed very pro -active in either pressing, stepping up, or dropping off depending on what was going on, very mature.

It's why I'm not completely convinced he's here just to back up Romero as he looks the ideal partner for VdV.
He's definitely here to compete with Romero and not as backup. With Romero's reliability, he absolutely can take the spot from him. Hopefully the competition will bring the best out of Romero.

Bringing his family over with him is a really helpful thing to help the lad settle in a bit.
I like it when the club does that little bit more to help players feel at home when they arrive, really helps the family mentality about the place.

Fucking hope so!!
Like others have said, punctuation is key. But the sister and werners wife are tagged at the bottom of the monopoly pic. I'd imagine the ionastan one is his sister. Thankfully he's not incestuous (at least openly :cautious:)

Given the name, I would say Meira DRAGUSIN is his sister not girlfriend 😂

I was looking for full matches in Seria A to see more about him.

I found some highlights with all his touches in 2 games, against Juventus and Inter:

Despite being Romanian I didn't follow his club career. Only saw the games with the national team. In 2023 he was solid in all the games played for the national team, our best defender by far. I was quite surprised by how good he turned out to be in our Euro qualifiers campaign. I remember his matches in the national youth team and he was a bit chaotic, defending very high in the field. But what I saw from him in the senior national team in 2023 showed a big step up for him, very solid and hard to win duels against.

First thing we need to do is convince him to get rid of his agent. That guy is an ass of the highest order and I can see him causing many distractions for the Dragon

All three will compete for a start, and like Ange said, it will give him an opportunity to rest one of the three on a regular basis, and give quality cover in case of suspensions and injurie's, something he now has the option to do.

In the not too distant future Ange will add Phillips to those three and this will give Ange options, especially if and when we qualify for Europe.

The centre back position is more or less fixed for the next decade.
