Spence probably doesnt wanna go cause hes worried Conte will rock up there.

In all seroiusness, he is right to be a little hesitant. This is obviously a loan that has only come about due to this deal so probably not much thought gone into it in terms of the player's development.

He was gonna be on loan anyway this season. It’s just where he’s spending it. Genoa is lovely. He might actually learn something.

It just came from Ally Golds update but I don't think he necessarily meant the deals are dependant on one another
Does a 30 million euro deal depend on a loan? Don't work like that it's a sweetener after they asked for it but the fee for a separate transfer for Dragusin was the break though offering them djed and him now deciding to join is another problem that will be ironed out one way or another. Lawyers are going over all the paperwork before it can be signed off which can take a bit of time. I'd imagine Tottenham wants Radu on a flight no later than Thursday morning.

The ebbs and flows from almost every transfer are similar. Not sure why people get worked up about other people's emotional roller coasters.

Would it be great if everyone kept an even keel? Sure. But, people getting excited, disappointed, and excited again is just part of the journey. Its neither good, nor bad, it just is.

Football is an emotional sport.

I would be surprised if Spence wouldn't want to go to be honest. Chance to play football in one of the top 5 leagues, lovely climate, not a bad place to live!

ITK forum or Transfer forum it's irrelevant imo.

Lets be honest here there are some very clued up journalists out there that do have great sources. So what they post is most certainly ITK. There are also hundreds of Aggregators and second rate journalists(and I use this term loosely) that spend their time posting what others have already posted and call that 'a source'. They don't leave it there though because doing that they aren't going to attract any attention because hey it's nothing new. So what they do is completely bastardise the headline to make it look like something else and/or add their own little made up twist on to the post to make it look like it's brand new information(if you are easily manipulated). That in turn gets picked up by another muppet journo or aggregator and changed again, and as it moves down the timeline it gets more and more bastardised and less and less like the truth.

That's what we had last night, numerous aggregators and journalists tweets one after the other each a little more depressing than the last, and usually with a little footnote from the SC poster telling us how reliable this guy must be for whatever bullshit reason. What was blatantly clear though right from the outset, was that it was exactly the situation I described above and it was all stemming from one Journalists post.

So again what the forum is called is irrelevant really, it's the content that matters and last night was just an aggregator free-for-all which led to some pretty bullshit ott posts. It wasn't opinion it was was emotional thoughtless ranting from some, and needless doom mongering from others.
Fair points, I don’t disagree with any of that.

I just think it’s tricky to draw a line in the sand, when most of the time it’s just innocent speculation cause people are bored and looking for something to talk about. Of course it’s a shame when people cross the line and get nasty and personal with people they really don’t know the first thing about

Aggregators certainly have no place here, but I definitely get confused myself from time to time about which journalists are reliable in which context. If I see rumours in random articles I usually try to track it down, and if I do, but don’t know the source that well, I’ll ask whether or not it’s reliable.

Anyway, as has already been said many times today, it’s no wonder people are sensitive and ready with a reaction for when things seem to be going south. Some go over the top though, and I agree this is a good discussion to have, to try and find a way to prevent that without sacrificing innocent transfer speculation/small talk.

Getting stressed and losing your shit like a toddler at something you can't control is even worse than doing it with something you can ;)
Zero effect though to actual real life things, so I'd rather they do it with that xD

It wasn’t even in the ITK forum. It was 25 pages of shite in the player page. Unless you can aggregators completely or keep an approved journo list I don’t know how you can stop it. People will spiral if given half the chance

Perhaps :D

Being emotional is not an excuse to be throwing tantrums, spite and hate around. There's a line and the idea is that people are grown up enough to know where that is and wind it in accordingly.

It was in the transfer section so access can easily be revoked.

Have you ever been to a Spurs match? It's 50% tantrums, spite and hate.

How do these people operate with shit in real life, important situations.? Not some potentially bad news re a football club?

Must be frightening.

How many of these types of posts are we going to see on this thread today? We get it, some people are angry with some over the top posts.

Quite a few Levy effigies getting put back in the cupboard today…

Until transfer deadline day at least where we don’t follow through on some nonsense rumour from the Daily Star or something about signing Mbappe.

Same way but I also have ADHD and struggle with mental health soooo life can be a massive panic and chaotic.

Also we've had this issue every window for 20 years so can't blame people when it appears to happening again
