Sometimes, Hercules knees are on springs :D

The main point is getting people not to post clickbait/aggregators in the first place.
He also has fat fingers and thumbs so we never known if what he types is intentional or not

Dan KP at the standard and Charlie Eccleshare at Athletic confirming it too. Nothing we don't know but confirmation regardless.

The reaction isn't unexpected at all, but it is unwise and pretty unhealthy in my opinion. As with every transfer ever, it's a sensible idea to let rumours play out a little before getting upset, because things can change quickly and there are all sorts of inaccuracies and Chinese whispers in play.

It would have been much smarter (in my view) for those people to give it at least 12 hours before making their post, because that way those people could confirm that the negative slant is true. So it's not about being smart now - it's very much about being smart then, and not making a nasty post based on very little. If more people acted in that way, we would avoid so much of the moaning about moaning about moaning etc.

The news around Dragusin has generally been positive and been looking like he will become a Spurs player, but as the cliche goes... nothing is certain until he's holding up the shirt. If that logic was also applied when a rumour emerges about him going to another club it would do a lot of people a lot of good I reckon.

Massive thanks to our ITKs as usual - WLB has been putting a huge shift in on Dragonsteaks in particular!
I´m sympathetic to the logic behind your post, mate. But if everyone should wait 12 hours to reply to any rumour, this site wouldn´t have much traffic, would it? Because, obviously it can´t only be a "no reply" rule for negative news - it should also be the same for any positive news.

It´s the internet. People react. Stupidly or sensibly - but they do react. Complaining about this very human reaction pattern shows little insight to human nature tbh.

If we can go to Old Trafford and we can star Dragusin with VDV in the back and with Werner up front it will be huge boost I think.

I don't know how much more we can do about the clickbait/aggregators being posted. Short of excluding people who persist in posting it from the ITK forums.

We bang on and on and on about it yet constantly it gets ignored.
Tbh I don’t know what’s stopping you guys from doing just that. It’s getting beyond a joke and it’s ruining the itk forums imo. If people don’t like it? Well that’s just too bad go and find another forum to fuck up.

I don't think many are complaining about negative reactions to news or developments in general. It's the using what barely even qualifies as news to advocate setting on fire the chairman, and other such less dopey but actually more poisonous stuff. Mountain out of a molehill doesn't come close to doing some of the reactions justice.

Maybe... we don't know about Dragusin... but we do know that Emerson has delivered some great performances lately at CB.

The only thing that really irks me in these threads in terms of the reactions isn’t even the flip-flopping of emotions.

It’s the completely unnecessary “that little bald **** has done us over again, when’s he going to F off” type stuff. All said by people who have zero idea what’s actually happening but who will take any chance they can to swear about Levy.

The following morning the deal gets done and they don’t retract any of that, they don’t see that they’re swearing about someone whilst knowing sod all about what has actually happened they just say they’re glad someone signed. It’s pathetic.

If you want to criticise the bloke fine. When he’s clearly done something wrong go for it, you still don’t need to hurl childish abuse at a guy you’ve never met but at least complain about him if and when you’re sure he’s actually done something in the first place.
Totally agree with this. It's unbelievably childish.

I don’t know about that, it’d be a very small group of people in here. There might have been some aggregator post yesterday, but one or two journalist posts as well, after which Hercules (no fingers pointed here, I see it’s already been discussed today) lit the fuse.

Shit happens, people react because they’re so ready to be let down once again. It’ll take a while for that to go away I think.

Definitely some posts go to far with regards to Levy though. I had my own, albeit very short comment directed at him last night, but I did see some cross a few lines. That’s obviously not beneficial to anyone, and I’m not sure what to do about that.
