But done in 2 parts normally? I can never remember, but half have in my head there are 2 parts.

I'm a knee-jerker myself, ready to blame DL for a 5 minute delay. But I'm impressed recently that he has done virtually everything I'd wanted and a bit more. Ange is a breath of fresh air, our scouting has improved, our recent transfers have been great and there is a feeling of integration at the club with new people in place to make footballing decisions . So though I revert to whining me when we seem to take too long for a deal (anything over 1 day!), at least I suspect that I'm absolutely clueless about what is really going on.

We have good time if the deal is accepted today. Announce Werner today and Dragusin either tomorrow or Thursday. Could even delay the announcement until the team is registered and keep Utd guessing until then.

Absolutely! I do wonder though with his consultancy role, surely he is free to do the same for other clubs? It's a shame he isn't more locked down because that man has been a real asset!

The process started two years ago when Paratici joined, when we started making signings like Romero, Bentancur and Kulusevski. Since then we’ve been on a roll revamping the whole squad.

This season, Vic, VdV and Maddison already look like fantastic signings notwithstanding the injury issues, and Dragusin and Werner are very exciting January additions. The squad is definitely starting to come together.
