Why would they be using us (who want him) to drive up a fee lower than we would pay in order to sell to a direct rival in their league? That would be beyond stupid. If anything it's using the Napoli "interest" to chivvy us up

Bastoni never wanted to come to us and I really don't think we were ever this confident or, to be honest, this bothered about him, just making the effort for Conte. This feels completely different.
