He is why the Gallagher link makes sense, Ange wants legs in midfield for Sarrs midfield role especially if accommodating Maddison or Kulusevski.

really hope Sarr is signed up to a deal to 2030 as with Udogie shortly.

Give him a new contract and we’ll build the statue. One of our best players all season.

His work rate and ability go under the radar because he’s not a flashy player but my word he is one of the best young midfielders on the planet right now.

He really impresses me week in, week out. He gets it wrong sometimes, but the head never drops and he keeps on trying.

Has a bit of everything can pick a pass, tackle, get around the pitch supremely well - maybe needs to work on his shooting but I'm being super picky for a player so young.

Sign him up to a long term deal on a decent wedge please.

He just brings better balance to the team.

In the PL you do need athleticism, physicality and legs in there and not just technical players.

Bissouma evidently finds it harder when Sarr isnt alongside him cause he knows that he hasn't got someone alongside him to cover distances quickly and be protective on the ball.

Think that's why Bissouma loses the ball more as he has a bit more doubt and concern in his play.

Balance is so important in midfield. Its not all about having 3 technically superb players in there like Lo Celso for example.

Please Scott or Danny boy definitely tie him down to a new long term contract
He has only completed the full 90 mins in four games this season, the midfield always looks to me much weaker when he has been substituted early

After today’s showing against Wolves, I’m more and more confused by the Gallagher links. Just don’t see how he would bring anything new to the team. He doesn't have Sarr’s engine or Maddison’s creativity, which we definitely miss when they don’t play.

Loved his bit of play for the 1st goal. Such a small detail but that one touch that gets him beyond the Everton player was so clever. We're really going to miss him in Jan, possibly the one we could miss the most. That's if Madders returns soon to help in the final third when Son is away. We really don't have anyone that plays the 8 role as well as Sarr maybe aside from Bentancur but he's likely to be out until at least Brentford.

He’s a beast! He will be another world class midfielder in the same breath of Essien and Kante. Hopefully he can win everything with us.

Gallagher is a good footballer with a terrific engine and having him and Sarr for the 8 position would be formidable. Don‘t see Gallagher as cover for Maddison and to be fair I don’t see Sarr as cover for 10 either. Think Gio and Kulu provide better options as 10’s, but I’d be all over getting Gallagher in and moving PEH and Skipp on.

I don't see Gallagher coming to Spurs to be cover for anyone. He will want assurances he is going to play if he leaves Chelsea.

Cover for Maddison and Sarr is what we should be looking for. Keep Skipp, because with a bit more experience / real game time, you‘ve basically got the same player as Gallagher without the financial outlay.

Gallagher is a much better player than Skipp and I like Skipp.

I actually thought he wasn’t great. Misplaced a lot of passes, gave it away in some dangerous areas. Did well for the first goal though. He’s young still developing.
I appreciate I’ll get pelters for it but I think with skipp next to him and Kulu at 10 (who plays a lot higher when at 10 than Gio or maddison) he struggled which is understandable

Really upset for him if he's not going to be fit for AFCON, it looked from his reaction that he thought it was a bad enough one to rule him out.

We’re gonna miss him big time when he’s away. It’s become clearer as time has gone on this season that he’s the engine in this team. Really hope he’s fit to represent his country in some capacity. He deserves it so much.

Definitely looked like a hamstring. So sorry for him if he misses out on the Afcon which looks very likely. I really hope it’s not as bad as it seems.
