They've gone all RAWKY...the lack of self awareness is mind boggling.

Some of them saying that the beautiful game is dead and that they will never watch another game. The funny thing is most of them probably watched their first game a season or two ago.

It would appear that a poster on Blue Moon isn't overly happy with his team's defending for the second goal...

"Thought we were absolutely excellent..... apart from Tyrian Lannister scoring a header in our 6 yard box."

:joyful:

I'm sure that will last until at least tomorrow morning.

No doubt Arsenalmania is full of whining about how lucky we are and a millionth post about how Poch will leave soon and the team will fall apart.

Var the best thing to happen in football . The right decision against the right team and the right manager and the right supporters.
I can't stop laughing its wonderful. The reaction of Redknapp and Neville was priceless they are acting like Citys no1 supporters the bitterness is wonderful to behold.

A lot of football fans don't like the way the rich clubs have effected the game and say that's spoilt it. So it's quite ironic they think that.

I've just heard some saying it's taking the enjoyment out of the game. I disagree, going to old Trafford and playing well only for a horrendous decision to deny us points ruins the fun for me.

Any condemnation of VAR is ridiculous today. Fact is, ball does not go anywhere near Jesus if it doesn’t hit Laporte on the arm. That’s never been a goal, and thank god for VAR to catch it today.

I’ve been following Tottenham since I was seven and all I can say is keep VAR coming. We’ve been the recipient of so many shit decisions over the years that I’d be happier knowing that more key moments in games are being more comprehensively scrutinised.

Case in point: CL quarter final last season and today. The lazy adage, you make your own luck can fuck right off now

apparently Levy is reluctant to sign VAR on a permanent unless certain performance clauses can be agreed to.

Also, very contradictory to talk about corruption in the game whilst their owner is channelling his funds into the club via Etihad Airways to get around FFP

That's the point. When they, and Chelsea, whine about "football dying" and whatevs. IF football is dying, then it's because of plastic trash clubs like them (and PSG).

A real lack of understanding about how VAR is used in the Premier league...... It is only used in-play if the ref has missed an obvious error, however, if a goal is scored then it is mandatory to review that goal and its build up...... Seems simple to me!

I've actually done some taxi work today either side of the match, so not had time to view bluemoon but from what I've seen are they moaning about VAR in general, the no penalty, or just the handball?

had the pen been given by the ref, VAR wouldn't of overturned it, even though the City player went down very easily. had they got the penalty we will never know what the result would of been as the rest of the game would of played out differently which in our case was a result as we should of been hammered. to be honest I thought the Aguero goal was very tight to being off side. the accidental handball rule was brought in after 2 goals scored last season, Boly v Man C, and the Aguero goal v the goons, and there is nothing to argue on this occasion. yes celebrating is going to be a mare but at least the correct decision will be made.
