Now we'll sit down with CE and see how he feels now we've strengthened the squad.

If he can get his head on straight then our squad is much stronger today than at the end of last season.

Otherwise, I think we're a little ahead, with the added bonus that we've signed young players on long-term contracts - 5 or 6 years a piece, I believe.

It's been a good window for Spurs. Keeping Alderweireld and Rose ensures continuity in defence and if Eriksen can clear his head for the coming months/year than even if if he leaves in January/next summer we seem to be well placed to build under Pochettino.

And, basically, we've not forgotten how to sign players. I know I was worried!

I read that we have to buy Lo Celso if we qualify for the CL next season but if we don't, we don't.

we are obliged to buy him if we get european football - doesn't mean we cant buy him if that doesn't happen.

Dybala was gutted apparently ?

Indeed PD and PC only emerged late on. I wouldn't say they weren't on our radar, but who'd have thought at the start of the window they'd have even been available.

PD must be by far the most complicated deal we've ever attempted. DL in the past has steered well wide of any player with third party ownership and I can certainly see why. Poch has certainly been backed though with all 3 of our primary targets secured. Yes we've had to wait till the final day but it's done and at far better prices than we were quoted a couple of months back. Compare this to United who waited the same amount of time to sign Maguire and still had to pay full whack for him. Ty he window could have been better, but I think it's fair to say as things stand now we are a lot stronger squad wise than at the end of last season. Now we'll sit down with CE and see how he feels now we've strengthened the squad.

Given that the player wants to join us and would be a great acquisition, perhaps the complexities could be resolved for January? Let’s hope so.

Very good window, that nearly became an unbelievable window. I suppose it could still go a bit pear shaped given we have players that 'could' still go abroad, but if it stays like this then it's been very positive.

We all wanted Poch backed and he most certainly was, and i'm sure the extremely big push for Dybala would have pleased him as it appeared to be a major effort to back him (assume record wages + record transfer fee)

Big thanks to all the itk and SC staff.

I really hope Poch comes out and does the right thing by Levy now. He’s backed him with every player he wanted. Barring a late Dybala offer.

Maybe my concern is that he's desperate to get out of Juve, and other leagues, with windows still open, have less restrictions to who own what part of the player.

Fact is a player of Dybala's stature in the game wanted very much to come to us. Shows how far we've moved on in the last couple of seasons!

We were never going to 'rebuild' in one window - we all can attest to the potential disaster of having to integrate 6 or 7 players into a squad. We have shifted some deadwood and maybe some more to go, freed-up wages (notably Llorente) to invest in the new players and our outlay on our signings isn't actually astronomical given some incoming revenue and clever structuring (Lo Celso). The fact we were looking a Dybala tells me we haven't spanked our load and that we are placed to look about in January if we need to if we find value (RB I forecast). My summary is a very progressive window and let's not walk past the fact we have signed 2 £50m+ players. They are all young and could be with us years if they succeed. I'm happy with all we have done and I think Poch will be too.

Good window. We got the main targets. Well done Levy.
Is a bit sour because I had Dybala on my mind, however we should all just see this as a positive - we can get players like Dybala, and they want to come. Although we didn't actually get him because of those complexities, it gives me faith going into future windows because now we can, and will, go for the big names.

Rather frustrating with it being rules and regulations that stopped us. They should be uniform for everyone, well atleast European teams.

Got to be satisfied. We got all the targets we had aimed for in June, PD was an opportunity that was unexpected. Ultimately it was a fleeting dream. But we got everyone we had set our sights on. Only mystery is why we are so set on getting rid on Rose when there is no proper replacement in our squad.

How do we know that?

We've signed 3 players and there's still a massive question mark over Eriksen.

Ndombele should be a significant upgrade, LoCelso is an unknown and Sessegnon is an England U21 player who struggled at times in the Premier League last season.

Seems more like a 'fine tuning' rather than a 'revolutionary' off season for us. That's the difference between signing a true marquee player like Dybala compared to a LoCelso that most fans wouldn't know if it wasn't for YouTube....

I really hope Poch is satisfied. But we don't know and the next couple of weeks will be critical. His post match interviews don't fill me with alot of confidence.

Great window for me. Levy has backed Poch for the two top players he wanted and also brought in two excellent youngsters to add to the growing number we have at the club.

As Trix said, the fact that a player of the calibre of Dybala wants to come to us bodes well for the future and the fact that we are now willing to actually buy these value players! Will be interesting to see if CE still wants a new challenge.....!

Huge thanks to all on this site for an excellent job throughout the highs and lows of the window, and to our resident ITKs! Now it’s time to kick on in the league! COYS!!

Dybala was surely a case of now or never, he will surely be used in Juve’s pursuit of Icardi or failing that I can see a club like Bayern, Atletico Madrid etc snapping him up before the European window closes
