Which, even with the direct financial loss it'll incur, seems preferable to strengthening a direct top 4 rival.

The ITK from the end of july that he had agreed to the terms of a new contract was so promising, even more so disheartening the recent ITK that he has been a sulky idiot, and burnt his bridges with the club.

This latest update makes a lot of sense as many of us had thought the Coutinho move is insurance. Maybe we do this as well as two of the others in the expectation that Eriksen will go. With injury concerns over Dele and to some extent Harry we need some more top quality to compete with the very best teams

Loving the positive sounds right now, but we also know how quickly things can change (compare 8am to 8pm yesterday!).

Hard not to feel excited though!

Since last night I’ve started to feel a little more optimistic but the news about Eriksen’s transfer falling though does concern me that it’s gonna put a spanner in the works in terms of getting “2 of the 4” in.

Would be nice to complete Sess today and have tomorrow focusing on the big ones.

Here’s hoping.

I think we always do best with obscure contract clauses and players out of favour elsewhere but almost always come undone by third party ownership.

Dybala and GLC would make a great window, not very fussed by PC, more Pool folklore than substance

Isn't that the point of loaning Coutinho? So we don't have to depend on selling Eriksen. The way I read the post from Herc is that we can afford 1 of Lo Celso, Dybala or Fernandes now but not 2 without selling Eriksen. So instead we'll loan Coutinho at the end of the window if Eriksen is still here.
