Bit worrying seeing Speith and Koepka looking strong. I really don't want them to win.

Great effort from Rory. Super golf. Unfortunately I think the short putt he missed yesterday on 16 is going to cost him.

I know alot of people are going to want Lowry to win but I have 2 hopes. A fantasist hope that Westwood wins and a realist hope that Fleetwood wins. Then maybe Rose! Anyway we are set up for a great weekend.

I find I still end up supporting nationality. I'll naturally favour the English, then then Brits and then the Europeans thanks to the Ryder Cup, then Woods in that order!

Then it's generally who offers the best story. Woods winning the Masters was amazing, I'd love Westwood to win here but any Brit will do!

Im trying to support nationalities

I like Justin Rose - ill choose hi,m

Would love to see Westwood win it but would be happy to see Lowry or Fleetwood win.

Koepka would be the one I would fear the most.

Such a brilliant player. Just wish he could get his head right and cut out the calamity round that seems to happen nearly every tournament. They said on the BBC live text on Thursday that they overheard two members of the crowd saying

"When was the last time Rory hit a 79 at Portrush?"

"Probably when he was about 10!".

I suspect that may be accurate.

Brilliant day at the course yesterday. Much better than any other tournament I've been at previously. That way everything is laid out and organised was great, and the weather was good for the most part. Got to see most of the players I wanted to see as well.

Can't wait till it comes back to Portrush again.

St Andrews in 2021 is the target for me. Although St Georges is sensational venue
Don't get me wrong, I'm still going but it means I don't get the practise rounds for free, which you pretty much did with the weekly tickets. I'm just annoyed that I missed the boat as I've been saying that I'm going to go all week since it was announced that it was going back to St George's.
I'd love to go to the other venues but it's the logistics and cost to stay. I can be in Sandwich in half hour by train.

I wonder if they're going to take any courses off of the rota now that there's 2 historic venues back with Hoylake and Portrush.

I'd love to see it back at Deal. It's one of the finest links and would definately stand up to an Open .

Lovely weather here today but it’s meant to be apocalyptic tomorrow. Anything could happen. Just followed Wallace round ( I do RF cameras in golf ) he’s a bizarre character f’ing and blinding all over the place. Apparently pays his caddie extra money to shout at him as his sport psychologist told him he needs to release his pent up anger
