These Fekir links to Betis are far too random for there not to be something in it. Perhaps this happens and GLC to us isn’t too far behind.
Given his Copa America involvement, I wouldn’t expect him to be involved with us on a first team capacity until September.

Let hope we are close because then it means we should know either way about Eriksen in due course. If we get lo celso in first it would make any potential Eriksen departure a less bitter pill to swallow. Hopefully he stays too though obviously.

We allowed Lyon to do their business before NDombele left them, so it is plausible that we've allowed Betis to line up their replacement (Fekir) before we give them the money for GLC.
For me, this transfer is crucial in making the window a successful one; signing Clarke, NDombele and Lo Celso would see us in a stronger position for next season. That would represent the bare minimum for a successful transfer window.
Okay, there would still be areas in the squad to sort out, but we could sort them next summer (or even winter).
More realistically though, I personally believe we'll get the three players listed above and also add a couple more to them, whilst sorting out one of the Eriksen or Toby scenarios. That would represent an outstanding transfer window; a bit of a squad overhaul when we need it, done by signing talented, young, hungry players, to inject a bit of fresh impetus into the squad.

Disappointing that we left ourselves so much work to do this summer. Still time left in the window but have a lot of players that need to be moved in and out.
Have little confidence we’ll get the upgrades we need at backup striker and RB.

Knowing levy, he probably had some clause put into ndombele fee, didn’t someone say he was trying to sign Lo Celso whilst dealing with aulas?... maybe he said look betis want Fekir but won’t pay 50million, we’ll give an extra 10 on ND if you give betis Fekir at knockdown which frees up GLC, fat fetched yes..... but come on! Daniel levy! Wouldn’t surprise me.
