His profile won't drop much (if at all) while the football world waits to find out where he ends up. He's still a massively marketable asset whatever happens in the next weeks and months.
I disagree a bit with this. Marketable value is all based on perception and there are plenty of other big name players out there that sponsors can go for. I think he needs a move to materialise this window otherwise he's going to end up worse off in the long run. I'm not convinced the move he needs is to us though. BUT I can't see what options he really has - it seemingly took him time to settle in Spain so I would assume the same would be true in either Italy or France, not that Juventus would be a good destination for him right now and PSG have shown no real interest. That really only then leaves us and United.

All makes it seem so ridiculous the amount of effort they put into tapping him up all those years ago, just to end up like this. Also there have always been murmurs of dissatisfaction with him, so why on Earth did they commit to this contract?

I'd be absolutely shocked if he moved to China, all the talk of how difficult it was to settle to then move to China, plus if he's chasing the money then he's not the player I thought he was. He's earn't enough so his family tree is sorted until climate change kills us off in a few years

£119 a minute, yep £119 a minute, fucking £119 a minute.
Alright for some

If I was Bale, I’d be taking extra long dumps at work knowing that a three flush shit session would paradoxically see you pounds lighter and heavier. That kind of human endeavour is up there with anything the likes of Einstein or Da Vinci ever achieved

what a waste of talent if he goes to china, hes's won everything possible for club. come back to where hes adored, or move for the money and probably be just as miserable as he is in madrid now.

In Madrid fans eyes, Ronaldo won them the CL’s by himself. They probably also view him as the reason Ronaldo left.

Also, Ronaldo mirriors the RM fans' and club's arrogance, Bale has never shown any arrogance himself, ergo he doesn't fit with the club's image.

He needs to get out there, as it can't be good for his confidence and mental health. He's already a wealthy individual, so I would have thought happiness and sense of being loved is greater than chasing the $.

Agreed. Which is why I feel Eriksen would struggle to fit in as he seems fairly humble and keeps to himself
