He might be better than he showed at the Copa. He fucking better be ?.
Loads of quality players look shit on International duty. Loads.
New Tactics, New formations, being comfortable with how your teammates play etc. Being his first tourney with them makes it all the more daunting.
If our scouts think he's special enough to bung 70 mill on him, I'm choosing to believe he's amazeballs.

I mean Kane frequently looks awful for England and we all know that's got absolutely nothing to do with whether he's shit or not. This is the same guy who some Barca and Madrid fans suggest was the best midfielder in la liga last season. I'd take that over a couple of lacklustre performances for an average, disjointed Argentinian team. At the end of the day,if the club want him then they should try to get him, if they don't then they won't try.

Don't see us spending that much on him.

Stating the obvious, but now is the time for negotiation with Lo Celso, if there's any interest ofc.....

Do we think that means he’s sending the same offers to both clubs? Or he’s negotiating the same way with both clubs?

Think it just means what it says, that whilst they were negotiating the finer details of Ndombele's move with us, they overheard Levy negotiating the Lo Celso deal with Betis. Obviously this guy's story comes from someone in Ndombele's entourage, perhaps one of his agents, and they obviously heard Levy speaking to Betis at some point.

Regardless, it's positive for us, it means we are still working on a deal to bring in GLC.

What a statement of intent if we add Lo Celso to Ndombele.

Far better going for the one or two key top targets, than multiple cheaper options. Nice to see us addressing the priority areas.

Probably good for us that he hasn’t had an incredible Copa America. Lessens Betis bargaining power and maybe just maybe makes them think now is the time to sell while his stock is high. Any clubs that had some doubt over him maybe dissuaded slightly. Fairly certain we want him and his performance wouldn’t have affected our interest. Hopefully we kick on with this (y)

Agree. Levy will certainly be playing that card against them now (hoping the Copa would boost his value). We can thank the awful management of yet another talented international team if we do get him!

what they value him at and what we offer will be 2 different things, much as we did with NDom and what Manure did with AWB

70 mill will be their bucket list but I dont believe they will get it
