Can I be the first to bring up the topic of what number he may wear? :sneaky: Wore 28 at Lyon, number 21 with the French team and his Instagram handle has the number 22 in it.
28 I think. There’s not really any first XI numbers available for a CM coming in, so he may as well stick with what he’s worn at Lyon.

Ndombele wouldn’t go to them over us

He would if the price was right. And mate- I ain't exactly hoping that'll happen; if we don't land Ndombele because they gazump us with some 300,000 a week pay rise (or whatever) I will die.

I just won't be surprised is all.

Gotta admit, the whole "several days to agree to personal terms" makes me incredibly nervous, despite all the ITK saying its done. I'm a Dolphins and Spurs fan. I'm conditioned to expect things to go sideways.

Think it's lost in translation honestly, as it says it's expected to be done by the middle of this week.

Wouldn't it be realistic that the foundation of personal terms was already agreed (Such as a wages-per-week understanding) and that the remainder of the conversation is going to be related to finer details (bonuses within the contract, etc.)?

And, with a medical needing to be completed, it makes sense in terms of a timeline that it'll be a few days before we hear any sort of announcement, if we do get that far. This is going to be a huge announcement given what it means in terms of a financial move as well as from a footballing/statement of intent standpoint; that's not something you just rush out there.

Between this and the fucking brooklyn nets about to sign kevin durant, i might jump off the burj khalifa. Dramatic, yes. But i’m conditioned to feel this way. Supporting the Knicks and Spurs have taken decades off my life for multiple reasons.

I’m a Spurs, Knicks AND Chargers fan - the sucker for punishment trifecta
