Between this and the fucking brooklyn nets about to sign kevin durant, i might jump off the burj khalifa. Dramatic, yes. But i’m conditioned to feel this way. Supporting the Knicks and Spurs have taken decades off my life for multiple reasons.
Spurs and Knicks fan, mate? That's an almighty load to carry. What did you do in your last life?

Imagine if one day, the Premier League had struggled to the extent where the top players in the league were desperate to leave even to clubs like Napoli, who often got Top 4 but rarely won anything and weren't generally considered a huge club. Imagine Kane, Pogba or Salah demanding moves there, and how much of an insult the British press would take it as. I guess it's the same there - the French media think they should be a big league themselves, they can just about tolerate being a step below and losing players to Manchester United at their peak or to Real Madrid, but losing them to Tottenham is taken as an insult.

Some L’Equipe tweet saying it’s done apparently. I don’t really do twitter so no idea.

As for BC, the last posts I saw of his involved an argument about Eriksen.

I still cannot understand why he keeps using Eriksen to argue that Sissoko is a bad player :banghead::banghead:

They've never been big league though? Ever

BC posting and an argument.... I just refuse to believe that .
He’s fine. Still arguing at length about everything. Laying into one of the most stubborn and opinionated posters on that forum.

Ha! Love it. That has all the ingredients for a never ending argument.

I actually think it’s a shame he no longer posts on here. Belligerent, stubborn bugger that he is he was a very good contributor.

Why did he leave?

Agreed. Whether we all agreed with him or not, I bet the vast majority always took the time to read his posts, particularly in the rating threads.

Shame he's not still on here, he was quite a big part of SC imo.

Still a bit of a wanker though.

Yeah I have a lot of time for him. We had run ins and he could be a dick (like a lot of us), but he’s very passionate about Spurs.

The argument he’s having is shaping up to be epic. Neither side will budge. Stats and videos are being used, and the insults are flowing freely. I’m fully expecting the intensity of their argument to become so great that it creates a black hole that consumes us all.

I've read some of his contributions on TFC. He can't express himself like he did here. This was a far more accepting venue for his opinions, good and bad, depending on your point of view. That's a credit to this forum. Still miss BC's input here; great insight sometimes; flawed, biased analysis other times, but he engaged others and that's a good thing.

He’s pretty thick skinned. Got tonnes of abuse (and still does), but there’s plenty of people on there that like him.

Can I be the first to bring up the topic of what number he may wear? :sneaky: Wore 28 at Lyon, number 21 with the French team and his Instagram handle has the number 22 in it.

Does anyone see the irony in the fact that Pogba not leaving United might be the very thing that both gains us NDomele and loses us Eriksen?
