When on French duty, Ndombele would have had two references from three players - Pogba for United and Sissoko/Lloris for us. I imagine he received one glowing reference and one average reference. This gives me hope.

Last week Delaney at the Independent said Utd were interested in Ndombele but felt Spurs were clear favourites. I guess they could have thrown more money at it but it seems we are offering good money and a better football project.

They are all coming from this one Soccer Link story. They're reliability is heavily debatable. ManU fans just swarm in a way we only see as a microcosm in Spurs fandom because their fanbase is SO massive. Makes it seem like there are a lot of reports and stories and whatnot when really it's just the one source.

There has not been one credible link to anyone but us and the Lyon president has changed his message and is no longer trying to drum up an auction having moved on to saying they are looking for his replacement all of which leads me to only one conclusion, he will be gracing the new turf in N17 this season.

This is it. I see the trending algorithms skewed by Utd or Liverpool usually just wanting a player to join rather than any tangible links.

SSN posted a rumor article with all the players they have been "linked" with or are interested in.
That list is literally 50-100 players long. All players mentioned have a newspaper name behind it for reference, which is clear as day to anyone who knows how marketing and ads online work (I do its part of my profession) that these are all made up for click bait.
I think 5% of all the linked players may be true but I don't see N'Dombele being one of them.
