If someone comes in with a higher bid then it will be up to Levy to match it. Considering Aulas has said he would like to get the sales completed by the end of June and NDombele is definitely being sold it doesn't give rival teams long to get their act together. If anyone else was really prepared to pay the asking price surely they would have come in with an offer already?

We all know that if a rival bid comes in it is more than likely they will offer far the player far more than us. If City / R.Madrid / Juve etc come in for him we will have lost our window of opportunity. For all we know, he may be their plan B and they pursuing their main targets - we will have more chance of pulling this off if we move quick I'd imagine.

City, Madrid, Barca, maybe PSG.

Seems we have been preferred over Juve and Utd however and our personal terms offer is very good (according to French press) .

Their problem is that they will have to go very big to take him away from us now as we are no longer pissing about with mid table offers and I'm not sure they'll want to go that high for what will be a second choice.

We can’t close the deal if Lyon are waiting to see if they get a higher offer though can we?
