A thread for all of us pissed off / heartbroken / knackered commuters to get us through the day of getting home.
Flew in on Friday to Alicante and just woke up in a hotel an hour out of Madrid. Dad snoring all night. Driving back to Alicante for an evening flight later and wondering whether this is the beginning, the end, or both.
Saw a lot of people crying their eyes out yesterday, even after the game. I'm 32 and this is my 20th year as a ST holder. I hate Liverpool more than any other club and I care more about the CL than any other tournament. (Fuck Wenger and his 'win your own league first' calm and collected style comments. The CL is the big boy for me). And there are far too many scousers here and will be on the plane home.
I'll be home by about 10, will probably check in on a close friend who is suffering with very bad depression and then a week of work awaits me with probably no news coming out of the spurs camp even though The Poch will be wanting early investment. (well, OK, I'm not expecting ultra immediate signings but you know what I mean.)
Guess I'll focus on the other parts of my life and make some summer plans.
So lads and ladies. How's your day playing out here in Spain and how are you gonna handle it?
