Obviously, I would want us to win against any opposition. If we weren't in the final, I'd want anyone to win against Liverpool. Anyone. I'd be screaming my lungs out in support of Arsenal or Chelsea. It's sad but so. And even, I don't have anything against any of their players, or their coach. It's just their fans. Unbearable to a level no other set of fans could ever touch. Their misery would be almost as pleasant as our joy. If there is any justice in the universe (I know that's a big ask...) we will win.

I want to see our players with a smile on their collective face...

...The only success that I want english teams that aren't Spurs to have in Europe is to do well enough to maintain the UEFA coefficient in order to maintain four clubs in the CL...

From the point of view of an Arsenal, Man U or West Ham supporter, and not yours as a Spurs supporter, because I was talking about THEM not US, Spurs and Liverpool are some other English teams helping to maintain the higher UEFA coefficient. So how is Spurs loosing the 1/2 final, which could result with 50% chance Liverpool to lose the final, helping the higher coefficient few years down the road? It doesn't. It was the European success of some other English clubs that allowed Spurs to play CL this season.

You are telling me that you disagree with me, just to agree with me later in your post. Thanks for all the medals and thumb ups!

the Liverpool fans thinking they have this in the bag easily don't understand too good. if Liverpool come flying out the traps they will be knackered in 30 minutes with the heat out there

I’m hoping the players are as overconfident as the fans

Even the one Chelsea fan I know is supporting us. I’d imagine he’s in the minority for that lot.

Most neutrals in a sporting event will side with the underdog well we are underdogs but I have just read about s survey in west midland towns and it seems that 76% are in favour of Liverpool and 26% in favour of spurs but what is not made clear in the survey is what was the question put to the people that voted "who you think will win " or "who do you want to win" .
if the question was "who do you want to win" then its pretty clear that we are not liked pretty much . I find it sad that people feel this way about our team as I had ( wrongly) thought that neutrals would be for us .
If the question was" who do you think will win "then the % quoted make sense.
