I'm saying our players only having one weeks break after the world cup was a joke. The championship playoff could be played on the same day as the cl final. They are not at the same time. Chapionship games are played on the same day as the pl. The reason was they have corporate tickets for both and don't want to miss out.
I didn’t realise the surrounding factors involved in organising events worth £billions was so simple, thanks for educating me (y)

I don't see why they couldn't show the playoff final on the same day as the CL, they've done it before plenty of times.

Every other league in europe seemed to manage it. So no it wasn't that hard to do.
And you know for a fact that every other league in Europe has precisely the same pressures and factors to consider as over here in this country, exactly the same public interest demands, policing issues, expectations from tv companies, collaboration with other largely followed domestic sports, national holidays to take into account and all sorts of other factors which I have undoubtedly forgotten about? Because unless you know this as fact, you are merely simplifying a complex issue based on absolutely no insight.

This is before one considers that the league season always starts early in this country to accommodate for having two major cup competitions, not one. Every other European league plays their FA cup equivalent mid-week, which is what we do with the league cup, so so our authorities need to factor for at least two weekends where no Premier League football is able to take place in the 3rd and 4th round.

I don't actually think that's the reason, I am merely suggesting that if it is, the people who made such decision do so on the basis of far better and more accurate information than Lilbaz could possible have available to him.

Generally more of that arrogant hogwash accompanied by some posters openly providing links to illegal streams (would you expect any better on RAWK)?
Red Berry's in for a very rude awakening if he thinks any selection of those midfielders is going to dominate Sissoko, Winks and Dele - the three players in our squad who have absolutely loved the big games this season.

And Lloris no better than Karius? :ROFLMAO:

We both have the same information. You were just having a dig because carragher was the one saying it. If poch had complained you'd be so far up his arse agreeing we'd just be able to see your piggies.

I mean, you don't keep using that word so we can't go with the full Princess Bride quote, but all the same...

But I haven't told you what word you should be using instead, so please don't thank me for educating you.

Spoiler: yeah, BBLG took a swing and shot a miss when going for "logistics", didn't he?

I thought I’d typed in surrounding factors, sadly my multi cracked screen and iPhone auto correct has done me a mischief. Thank you for pointing out :)

Liverpool fan at work asked me yesterday if Kane is gonna be fit for the final I said yes and his response was simply "FUCK!"

I said we could have a fully fit squad to choose from for the first time this season and he didn't look happy.

He's said a couple of times the stars appear to be aligning for us to win it with how we've gotten to the final, but knowing him I think the closer it gets to the final the more confidence he'll get.

My United supporting boss always takes the piss out of us, always going on about how we haven't won anything, so if things go well for us next week I'll be going into work on the Sunday and wrapping his entire desk in the Sunday's newspapers using the pages of us celebrating. He totally deserves it.

the thing is with him being a United fan (if a true 1) he would help wrap his, and the Liverpool fans desk(y)

Nope, more than happy to comment when Pochettino says ridiculous things, which he often does from time to time too. But whinging that it’s unfair that the gap allows us to get our players fit is just ludicrous. The league didn’t even finish particularly early, it was a pretty standard end weekend, two weeks into May.

Though yes, I do dislike Carragher, and most any other **** who spits at little girls for that natter.

Yep. Mine have been very silent. Trouble is, I want to taunt them prematch but it’s bound to come back to haunt me so I’ve sat on my hands. I’ll play the, just glad to be there, going to try and enjoy the day etc. When in reality I’m desperate to win this game more than any other in my life!

I don't have any scouse friends, in fact I've no friends:cry: during the season I usually have some banter with a Spam fan, though he has been pretty quiet for months. when I tell him how crap they are, his usual reply is "your win the same as us this season". so I will enjoy it winning it, and sending him a text.

he has a place in Spain, the other week I asked if it was rentable, but his reply was "I'm out there that week". it's a guarantee if we lose I'll get a text calling us b***lers. if it had been available I'd of gone out, trained up and had a day in Madrid, but no way with him there. I'd not return unless it was positive, and had to face a spam shirt for 2-3 days

3 weeks pause is a huge advantage to us imo. We were in dire form while Liverpool had won 15 or so on the bounce. 3 weeks off "resets" both teams form and anything could happen. I'd me a lot more worried if we played the weekend after the Everton game!

It's a bit stupid to complain about conditions that were set at the start of the season and to see him crying it favours spurs over liv because we have injuries is delightful for my confidence.

I think he's a knob but in his defence he didn't say that it was unfair from what I read. He just said it favours us which is true and that it pisses him off which is also true.

Whereas if they’d been playing Ajax then Pool would have the advantage and that’s ok then

It is a strange thing to even bring up in that manner though to be honest. As a fan it's something that would annoy me, but I wouldn't be putting it across in a way that suggests it gives us the advantage on the night and it's certainly not something I'd actually be complaining about. How the hell can you complain that a team can suddenly put out a team they have every right of putting out.

At the end of the day, a game like this should be played with both teams at full strength and you'd like to see the teams in the final have the ability to possibly discard any potential previous bad form.
