I couldn't give a fuck about those seagull shagging, dirty, no good fucktards, facing relegation.
Some of those tackles were way out of order....Chris Hughtons team selection reflected his tactics!
Florin Andone is a fucking disgrace.

Anyway, 3 points, another clean sheet and a great Eriksen goal.....

I gave MotM to Rose.....

We sleep walked our way through that game except for Rose and to some extent Eriksen

This teams still 3rd and in the semi final of the CL and the squad is running on fumes

Quite remarkable.

Imagine what we could achieve with less injuries a deeper squad and the odd player bought in during a transfer window

Surely Poch can turn water into wine

I thought Danny Rose was brilliant tonight. Eriksen was also very good and was everywhere - Rose for me though

Did Janssen get a chance to do anything at all?

Battled and won a ball in midfield, pressed like crazy and only a last ditch tackle by a defender avoided a clear cut chance for him. Did more than Llorente did all game.

I've seen traffic cones more dynamic than Llorente...

For all those who claim Eriksen doesn't care and his head is in Madrid. Watch again tonights match. This was all about his effort and desire tonight. No one else took charge. He did.

Eriksen MOTM , followed by Rose.

Christ that was a tough watch, like so many bus parkers.

For me the reason why we struggle so much is because don't inject more urgency and pace into our pass and move.

We play at the same pace, shuffling from side to side, probing in and out, but the deep lying defence is relatively comfortable if they're switched on and working for each other, which Brighton, to their credit, were.

But what we need is an injection of a quicker tempo, a darting run timed with a zippier pass, or interchange of passes to disrupt their shape for a second. We need to work on that more because we didn't create enough clear cut chances for the dominance we had.

And that was absolutely a penalty on Dele, stone wall.

A player like Grealish would of helped our cause tonight, as he'd combine well with Eriksen. Dele is best in and around the box sniffing stuff out.

Really want us to sign Grealish.

Wow I must have seen something different in Rose. For me Brighton just let him have the ball never marked him apart from his shot I thought he was average at best. Hey Ho.
As ever he bumbled about a bit and did some dumb stuff but he was a consistent nuisance and never stopped trying. Not his best performance but definitely one of the standouts on the night.

The thing is he was used wide left but Brighton didn't seem to see him as a threat unlike Son, Lucas and even Tripier, who they closed down quickly. He had moments in the game but people who give him 9 and 8 might as well give Loris 10 for keeping a clean sheet. At times it seemed they weren't worried about him and we gave up on him.

I voted for Danny Rose, but we have to acknowledge that the man of the match, by a mile, was Lewis Dunk.

It was a prodigiously frustrating match for 88 minutes, but that was mainly because Dunk was everywhere, doubling up on Moura and Son whenever they got the ball, blocking countless shots and passes, marshalling a very good Brighton massed defence and putting his head in where it might hurt.

It wasn't much like Ledley King, but I'd say it was like John Terry or Terry Butcher at their best.

We huffed and puffed all night against a stubborn parked bus, no one more so than Rose who was my mom, not for real quality but more for refusal to stop, he kept probing and was all heart.
After the epic encounters with City it wasn't easy to play against the polar opposite in Brighton
Massive Massive win.

No performance was deserving of a MOTM award. The players were weak and should have been harassing the referee a lot more about the time wasting.

Llorente deserves a fucking slap and so does Poch for selecting him and game management

Agree totally. Dunk - and his mate Duffy - were absolutely fantastic, bodies on the line, fight for everything brilliant.
