so win our next 2, hope Arsenal lose their next 2 and they definitely can’t finish above us, and if Man U lose their next 2 it means we are guaranteed 4th

Had Easter Dinner with my family with the Arsenal Palace score at 1-1. Came out to find it finished 2-3.

We should be feeling confident.

Ignoring the Huddersfield match, an easy 4-0, we’ve just played 3 straight games against the best team in the league, some say in Europe, and we beat them over two legs and there really was very little between us yesterday at their ground. I don’t think many other teams would have got close to that outcome.

We’re looking good. Come on you beautiful Spurs!

Europa League kills teams. I remember under AVB, a couple of our tepid displays on the Sunday.

Playing in Naples on Thursday and then playing a league on Sunday is a disaster, particularly against a team that has had an entire week to prepare.

Argued that until I was blue on the face on here, but always the same ones said it didn't matter a jot. It does. Big time.

Fluctuating fortunes, a good week for us in the grand scheme of things and we have to hope we don't have a 'down' week between now and the end of the season. Brighton are going to make it very very hard for us and West Ham, well its their cup final, they are going to be two very difficult games. COYS.

Brighton can afford to lose 2 of their last 4 games and still avoid relegation due to their vastly superior GD over Cardiff.

Can’t take anything for granted at this stage of the season. Big big games this week for us, must take maximum points and hope they all still drop points.

Man Utd took a giant step into the Europa league today and Arsenal have lost two of their last three games to mid table opposition and only scraped a win against Watford who were without their top form player and were down to 10 men for 80 minutes, I have to say they don't fill me with trepidation and as for Chelsea, their results depend on one thing and that is whether or not Hazard can keep up his interest to the end. Take my Spurs tinted glasses off and I'd put Chelsea at the head of those three but I genuinely still see us as the best bet for third.

Could all be done by this time next week for top 4:
Spurs beat Brighton and West Ham

Arsenal draw and lose Vs Leicester and wolves away

United lose one of Chelsea or city.

Be great to have it done before Ajax.

If we take maximum points, we don't have to worry about the clubs below us, but, as others have said, you can't take anything for granted, especially at this stage of the season.

I have hardly any transfers left, but I’m thinking about taking one for the team and putting him in my fantasy team. That will either result in injury or him not scoring. That’s what usually happens!

It’s THFC though, so realistically it won’t be that easy!

Yeah how I see it.

Arsenal and United are as shit as each other, difference is that Arsenal have a better/more experienced manager out of the two.

Chelsea will get 4th I reckon although Sarri will do his best to sabotage Chelsea they do have Hazard though.

This is what we should hope for tbh, Arsenal in the Europa League for another year is gold, they have fuck all to spend and they need CL to attract good players.

At least with Chelsea they have a transfer ban and will most probably lose Hazard as well so I'm not sure if CL will make much of a difference to them.

Utd are just shit, CL or no CL, Ole is out of his depth and they'll struggle to attract great players either way, their team is such a mess.

United are well and truly out of things now. I just hope they can muster a performance against Chelsea. I can't believe how fortunate we were that Solskjaer initially had such a good run of results, including against us, and that their board gave him the job before the season was over. Imagine the speculation in the media right now about Pochettino if they hadn't have rushed their appointment - Poch gets the better of Guardialo pretty much 3 out 3 games, while the honeymoon period is well and truly over for Ole, but United have made their bed now and even they can't sack a manager a few weeks after appointing him
