Amazing day, hope Burnley can hold for a draw tomorrow for a perfect round for us. Now it's snooker WC time!

Spent the day at brother in laws yesterday for a bbq and his family are all gooners. They were laughing at spurs losing 1-0 to city and consoling me that spurs will still finish 4th behind arsenal. Why couldn't the bbq be today?!
As soon as I got back from the first test event, I wrote a Facebook post about the new stadium and posted a picture of it and expressed how much joy it brought me.

An Arsenal supporting 'friend' commented that we'd still only be the second best side in North London at the end of the season. It pissed me off. She didn't have enough gumption to understand how important that particular post was for me, as it would be for all of us. She felt compelled to piss on my chips and I hate to admit it, it made me furious. Banter is fine, I'll take that with good grace, but this post was to note what will become a cherished memory and she thought it clever to taint it for me.

I've not responded, but I'm desperate for us to finish above them, just so I can screenshot her post and rub her face in it. All through the summer.

It would be childish, vindictive and very immature, but the itch is there and I won't be able to resist scratching. And then I'll delete her comment for good measure too!

Great pair of results for us today!

On another note, there’s not a player in English football who I’d like to see leave this summer more than Mo Salah. He’s disgusting and plays by a different set of rules to everyone else

You can't post anything sentimental about spurs without some moron trying to put a dampener on us.

After going thru to the semis my cousin (gooner) started with the "12 man team win again, they'll be making a dvd of this one!"

It's funny and sad for them because it could be their reality very soon. Scraping the barrel for little victories.

They're just insecure, never have they been this obsessed by us because genuinely we're a threat so take solace in the fact that them constantly talking about us means that we're doing well.

And it's just stupid because as most Spurs fans keep saying back, I'd buy the fuck out of a DVD for the CL games, it was a classic

I had ppl (as I'm sure many others did) from other clubs and countries text me to say how incredible a game it was. If any game deserves DVD status it's that one. Secondly, I hate this 'only trophies matter' attitude that some football fans have
