If the rumours are to be believed about being surprised who we’d let go in the summer, that has to be because we’d have less risk by having ‘the money in the bank’ by selling people who aren’t committed to new contracts.

Eriksen and Toby have both done the same to get to Tottenham, I would be surprised if they didn’t both do the same to leave us as well.

Being in the champions league next year might change that.

With sales of that calibre you’d have to assume we’d be shopping for some major talent to replace them.

Have any of you guys on here "followed" Valencia and kept track of how Geoffrey Kondogbia is doing?
A few years back he was one of the most sought-after DM/CM but then he seem to have gone quiet.
One of these following DM I'd like Spurs to consider this summer to replace Wanyama (can't see he'll totally recover his old match-fitness):

Sander Berge, Amadou Diawara, Denis Zakaria, Kondogbia, Julian Weigl, Franck Kessie + a few others I haven't listed

I'm hoping that playing at NWHL might open a few eyes for Ajax players. The prospect of having a home ground and an atmosphere like that won't do us any harm at all if we fancy any of them. Same goes for just about every player across Europe who will most likely be watching.
The Amsterdam Arena has a capacity close to 55k and the Dutch fans can be pretty mad also. The atmosphere can be pretty intimidating there too.

Daily Mail saying we have £60 million to spend plus what we make through sales. That figure doesn’t sound too fanciful, I’d actually be surprised if it’s that high.

Mauricio Pochettino will spend up to £150m revamping his Tottenham squad this summer and could look to sell 28-year-old England defenders Danny Rose and Kieran Trippier. (Mail)

I think those figures are most probably guessing.

If Llorente is willing to stay with us for another season, I would rather keep him. I've always wondered how we sell our club to strikers out there, knowing the only minutes he's gona have is in the cups or when Kane is injured. Even then, we have Sonny who arguably plays better when Kane is not in the team and even Lucas now.

Unless we can convince someone to that he's basically just a back-up or we rotate Kane on a more frequent basis in the league, I feel its a waste of time looking for strikers unless Llorente ask to leave.

Wondered how was Janssen convinced to come here.

Stones is all wrong especially with Lloris in goal.
We need a LCB (Umitti at Barcelona) and also full back upgrades especially on the right.
What's Lloris in goal got to do with Stones?

And I said as a replacement for Alderweireld, so obviously a RCB.

Stones has a mistakes in his game, he is not an assured CB imo plus we have more than enough RCB at the club to cover Alderweireld if he goes.

Anyone know anything about Sam Field? Supposedly an incredible passer and good defensively but haven't watched him enough as I rarely watch West Brom.

That’s why I think we’re better signing another Son type forward, one who can get regular minutes on the pitch to state sharp either as WF, or partnering Kane when required, and not just waiting for injury etc to open up gametime.
Zaha seems the obvious one given previous links. Nicolas Pepe seems to be the next name coming out of France. Alternatively, I wouldn’t be against Sturridge. Out of contract if I remember correctly, and if he can be managed back to fitness he’d be ideal. Plus leaves additional transfer budget to allocate elsewhere. I think his skillset suits our style a little better than Llorente.

I had a look at fm19 wonderkids and I can confirm that Oliver Skipp will become world class with enough games and the correct training facilities.

I can also confirm that the names being suggested in this thread are perfect. Keep going chaps

I’d like to see:
Grealish
AWB
Sessignon
Berge
N’Dombele

And if a golden opportunity comes up then maybe Bale/Isco.

His skillset, when he's fit, which is fucking rare, involves being an unbelievably selfish, lazy fucker made of glass.

Not having a go at you, mate. He's just the total opposite of what Poch seems to want from his players.

If he joined Spurs I hope he'll have a field day every game he plays

Kondogbia seems quite settled now after a rough time in Italy. Not sure if Valencia have taken up an option to buy.

I like your other list apart from Kessie. I'd add Doucoure in there. I think we could do with both Berge and Diawara personally.
