Actually in the midst of this drama the ref was forgotten but he really had a good game and with so much at stake. A few decades ago British refs had the reputation of being if not the best certainly among the best. But their blatant biases towards teams like Chelski, Man U and Arsenal have tarnished their image (just the last 1 1/2 both ManU and Chelski got wins gifted to them).

The best refs normally go unnoticed during games which is the exact opposite of Mike Dean.

Or when Nani dived in our box and grabbed hold of the ball before letting it go to Gomes. Only for him to attempt to play out and have Nani pounce on it and score, all because the ref hadn’t blown for a free kick.

Till today I still can’t understand how the goal stood when the ref and almost everyone watching the game, saw that Nani had clearly grabbed the ball when he was on the deck.

Man I'd forgotten about that one.

There was no contact by Son on Moses when Atkinson gave the penalty. It looked like there was contact but there wasn't. Turned the game just before half time.

Moses did the same against Arsenal in the final and got sent off for a second yellow.

Moses started diving after finding out that it was harder splitting opposing defences than parting the Red Sea.

Beating liverpool in the final would be great. They can say 5 times as many times as they want, we'd only have to say 1 time to make them cry.

I'd rather we play Liverpool, Barcelona were showing signs of how good they were three or fours yearsc ago the other night, another level.

Liverpool we can beat, made them look ordinary second half at Anfield.

I know it'd be shite to lose to them but at the end of the day we've made it to a CL final (if it happens of course, big if)

Best chance to win it would be the Dippers in the final.

True, but we’d have a better chance of beating Liverpool.
I dont agree. Liverpool are a very very dangerous team. Devastating up front and very strong at the back. Barca can be got at. Yes they have Messi, but they arent athletic and can be bullied.

I actually think pool will beat them anyway.

We need to be careful of what to wish for. Ajax will be very tough they're on a role and have beaten and knocked out two stellar clubs

Anyway fuck this final talk. Ajax is going to be really tough
They’ll probably win it. They’ve got a young, talented, underrated squad. They’re fearless and technically good. Their best players will probably dominate European football for the next 10 years, wherever they end up in the next couple of windows. Conditions are perfect

Will you lot STFU about who we aren’t playing in the final! Your comments will be rammed down you’re throats if we fail to get past Ajax.
