Absolutely, such a great moment. Maybe he could've played a bit longer but it looked like he pulled a hammy when he ran on to the pitch!

he kept feeling around his achilies when he was warming up:( was very sad to see him like that

Five and I won't name it because I would feel sorry for the owner but its on Kensington Church Street. Google it haha... You'll find it from there...

Terrible dude. So bad. Most unsatisfying meal. So unsatisfying I can't wait to poo poo it out.
Makes me want to dump one out on your behalf!

Yeah I think Howells and the likes of Carr, Stalteri and Tainio (even though he's like doubled in size in retirement) deserved a shout out, they did most of the running and donkey work.

Hate to be that guy but even as a nice touch for the stadium opening I actually felt a bit sad watching a few of them, Gazza and Ginola in particular. Obviously both have had massive health problems, and Gazza seemed crocked from the start, but neither could move/kick a ball really.

Genuinely think the stadium could make the difference against Man City in the CL, just has a good vibe

My son was complaining it took him 20mins before the game to get a beer, they're going to have to get that sorted.

Great stadium & great afternoon though.

I was on level 4, got in after taking a bit of a walk to the lifts, went in gate 8, the lifts where right by gate 6:cry: went to a bar there straight away we got served in fact I had the choice of 5 different tenders

The biggest issue was not running trains at Northumberland and Tottenham Hale. Once they get those 2 running it should be better.

looks like a new station has been built opposite Tesco and Ikea, I'm sure that when finished will take some traffic off everywhere else

I was surprised to see how chunky Micky Hazard has got. I saw him last year at one of his shows with ex Spurs players and he was still trim. Still love the guy though.
I bet when u see him again he wont look as big as he was on the pitch. Its all about perspective. People tend to look stockier when in football attire than in normal work or casual attire. I know I do. And for those who watched on the telly, remember tv makes u look slightly bigger.

I get that, for a moment, but I knew they’d be that way and frankly, the emotion both clearly felt because of it and joy it gave them easily made up for the sadness at two 52 year olds unable to play football to a decent standard anymore. I feel like it was the highlight of both their years.

Having went last week I knew what to expect. But the bonus was seeing and hearing everyone in awe on their first visit. Few around me commented how it felt like the spirit of WHL. Really does feel compact, yet bigger. They have done an amazing job with it. Look forward to first team games up there now.

Just want to thank all you guys for sharing the experience with those of us that can't get there.
Especially @rez9000 for all of his top work recently.
The place is buzzing and some of the vids genuinely brought a tear to my eye.
Thank you all so much for sharing.

a few things i've learned from yesterday

  1. whoever designed the accoustics has earned their money. Wow - its loud !! with 62,000 in the ground, that first important goal will blow the roof off
  2. so happy the first real game is a night game - the place looks even better under the floodlights
  3. lovely to see Gazza, but made me a little sad at how frail and immobile he is.
cannot wait for Wednesday night.

I was in the South block 254 and although it wasn't the loudest, a couple of times it felt like the singing was being amplified by the design of the stadium / stand. With the full 62062 on a big match night this place is going to be epic.

Also, how massive are the sausage rolls :D I could still feel it on the walk back down to Seven Sisters 3 hours later!
