Wooohoo! Just snagged a ticket to Palace through the Washington DC supporters club allocation. So excited. Gonna be an expensive flight though. See ya in 10 days or so.

Door on the south stand wouldnt open. I was right at the front of the cue and some guy pretty much ripped em open. Hinges were totally messes up and bent all over the shop. Epic stadium. Never seen anything remotely as nice!

I liked the camera angle they've used in the highlights on twitter account. Anyone know if that's the permanent one? Would be really happy if it was.

I just hope they’ve got enough room to take corners and no one is seriously hurt falling off the edge of the pitch

Oh and don’t forget your wellies, that leak downstairs looked terrible from the video posted the other day

As long as that’s all fixed for my return on the 3rd...

Oh and a shout out to my dad. Don’t break my bloody seat, ta

did he get in okay? without any checks?

What surprised me most was how much the pitch looks like the old ground. You can't actually tell it's the same size as Wembley. The run off at Wembley makes it seem so much bigger. Also the corners at each end were fine. The slopes are not as bad as they look in the pictures. No issues for the corner takers. They've done such an amazing job making it all look fresh but familiar there.

Think I massively underestimated what we’d make on food/drink. Obviously got there early to have a look around. Had a lovely lunch with a few drinks and half time snack spent close on £40 for 2 of us. Would I do the same routine again for a 3 pm yeah the food and environment were great. Old WHL I’d maybe spend a fiver. Left via the south stand and was a like a massive party going on lol I think that’s the market place. This stadium is gonna be a whole new experience can’t even imagine after a big derby win or European they will literally have to kick people out. The stadium is a massive game changer on lots of levels from revenue to the fan experience. Levy is actually a bit of a genius.
