I was writing here a couple of days ago that the club is likely to work with an experienced residential developer to deliver Phase 3, which comprises the hotel, the external works south of the stadium and primarily 500+ units of housing. This sounds very much like a THFC/Stanhope joint venture company, which would be consistent with such an approach.

It wouldn't be to sell the stadium. You wouldn't form a JV to dispose of a Freehold. You'd just sell it. Assuming the finance for the NDP is secured, in whole or in part, on the site itself, it wouldn't make sense to sell the stadium Freehold until the debt has been reduced using the sales receipts from Phase 3.

I've got no inside info, I'm just trying to add up 2+2 here, based on how developments are usually procured. Everything about the descriptions above sounds like a JV to carry out Phase 3. THFC would contribute the land, Stanhope would probably cash-flow the build and there would be a profit-sharing formula.
I beleive CBRE are involved, at least in identifying a partner for the hotel scheme

How absolutely pathetic that you're not willing to enter into conversation about such a monumental comment impacting our football club. I've dipped in and out of this site over the years as I've never felt this was a real representation of our match day going fan base. Suffice to say this blinkered levy love fest is prominent with our divorced day tripping dad's from Berkshire so I'll leave you all to it. The youth forum is a great resource of top posters and I'll stick to lurking there.
Night night all and I hope everyone has a fantastic day on Sunday...up the Spurs

I had to Google CBRE. For those, like me, who were unaware of them, this is what Wikipedia says: "CBRE Group, Inc. is a commercial real estate services and investment firm. It is the largest company of its kind in the world. It is based in Los Angeles, California and operates more than 450 offices worldwide and serves clients in more than 100 countries."

So now we know.

They have property everywhere. Look for green signage. I'd never heard of them until my former company were taken over. Fkin everywhere.

Frankly your shite bleating will have no effect - will the club change direction? I suspect not. Great, you can tell us “I told you so”. I suspect you will disapear into the background and we will never know who you are. Next week is another week and I will for one will react to what has actually happened as opposed to what may possibly (in the mind of rhino) happen in the future. By all mean wrap it up in the love of the old Spurs, but if you decide enough is enough and go away then I’m not sure anyone will give a shit. I’m trying to be realistic.

Wife kicked you out again?

True. But then again I don’t live on my own (an earlier admission by yourself today). Fancy going out for a beer?

*Mind you, you will see by my previous post I’m not really in much state to do so...:D

That new shop is weird. Nobody will even know it’s there. Could have made it a public non matchday cafe or something.

I go to football to get away from shit like this. It’s bad enough we’re turning into Tottenham Hipster Football Club with the craft beer and whatever but can they please remember that some of us are over 25? Stick a highlights reel on with a bit of Chas and Dave played over it, flash a few lights and then let’s play some football at long last.

Get with the scene Dad ??

I was a hipster way before so all this comes naturally to me ?

I can see people shopping there. If you're coming from that direction you dont need to walk over to the other side to buy from the main shop. Especially ideal if you're sitting in the north stand for the game. With so many people attending it will help to separate some of the shoppers to different ends of the stadium.

Is the tunnel club still happening? I haven't seen any images or anything in the new stadium materials for supporters that mention it.

Or has it gone the way of the cheesy room...

“What we wanted to create was a bit more identity,” says Lee. “Noise is massively important in that. So we have worked on delivering fantastic acoustics. We have thought of the stand as we would a concert arena, using sound engineers to advise on the best construction methods to produce quick reverberation times. What we effectively have here is a 17,500-seat megaphone.”

Aah, the obligatory "you're not from / in Tottenham & don't / can't attend every game, so shut up because you're a Levy loving, not worthy of an opinion ****" post.

I can already tell that this shitty club, and sites such as this one would be so much better if every fan in the world was as awesome as you are.
