Well shady dan you were quite fair in your last comment .But as for knowing how the internet works I guess I am probably ten out of one hundred in knowledge . its just that I am a huge Tottenham fan and being on my own and quite old I enjoy trying to put my views across tho I must admit sometimes I write things playing devils advocate to stimulate what can be boring subjects with everybody nodding there head in agreement . Also in all honesty I don't give a monkeys uncle about people calling me names or picking me up on my grammar as no one knows me and I am clued up enough to not let it affect me . I take it as banter and hope you do and do not mean any offence in reality and perhaps I have taken things too far in my attempt to stimulate what was becoming quite boring if so I do sincerely apologise.
Keep up the good work mate. There's nothing wrong with playing devils advocate.
I think it just seemed that everyone got a bit carried away.

I agree thats why I am apologising and Just for the record Eriksen is one of my favourite players and tho the D.E.S.K formation is our best they all for the last four matches have been off form but I am praying that they all come good until the end of the season.
It seems I took the devils advocate too far.

Interesting that Marco Silva actually put his hands on the ref after the game against Newcastle whilst going mental but he only gets a fine?

You couldn’t make it up. Something very dodgy going on at the FA for Poch to get a fucking 2 match ban.

Will be interesting where Pochettino favourite excuse sits when we move into the new stadium- “perception”

For me the perception of us as a club will instantly change even without spending any money I feel he will be under more pressure to deliver. We can’t really be perceived as “little old Tottenham” anymore with a £1bn stadium that’s the best in the country.

Come down hard on Poch to distract from Dean’s unprofessional comments most likely. His ref’s report was obvious bollocks as well.

Odds are that he'll throw in the word "Fantastic" somewhere in there if it happens.

if everyone thinks everything will change in what we should achieve in the new stadium straight away, your not living in the real world

Nope he's right, the perception totally changes seeing as this stadium has been a long time coming, all eyes will be on Spurs next season.

I don’t think there are any guarantees that our spending will change enough or big enough in the early stages to change that perception.

We all know we have weaknesses in the squad that will need addressing

Well he's kinda right, we can't even afford to get Jack grelish .

That's the reality of the club he's managing, United are looking again At greizmen for a 100 million and we may likely finish above them again

I feel that's the point he tries to get across, it's a massively uneven playing field and we're expecting/expected to finish above some of the most financially powerful clubs in Europe

The media won't care about that, this has been the bid build up and the stadium is the cherry on the icing, you will see next season.

the media will just be the media "got to win a trophy", "XYZ will want/going to leave". the only person that can put that cherry on is Levy, but the cherries need to be what Poch wants not approaching their sell by date.

edit: or struggle to get through the process option C signings

Spot on lighty mate other than entering a wonderful new stadium nothing about the club and it's policies will change, but we will still be there cheering the team on next year certainly I will be but expecting the all too familiar pattern to continue.

If poch is expecting to see ready made players to come in then he is wasting his time, levy won't have that the policy of buying and developing younger talent to flog on at a later date is the main driver here so nothing changes.

Can't afford or choose not to pay for? Would the prevailing SC opinion really have been positive if we'd have paid the increased (£30m+) fee for Grealish?

I'll post this here and in a couple of threads so everyone sees. So proud to have him as our manager:

He's on the pitch, and here's what Pochettino has to say (half time at the test event)...

We all feel the same. It’s so exciting. I got the same feeling on the last day when we left White Hart Lane. We were crying. The same feeling here at the new stadium. We are almost crying.

It’s going to be a massive impact for the team to have all fans and that feeling. It’s our new house but we’re going to create a new home and that is different.

White Hart Lane was magic but I feel that this new stadium is the best in the world. I really believe that the future of the club is going to be fantastic
