Cheers for posting this. I think it’s a bit of a disgrace the way the local council are treating disabled fans with a blue badge.

not sure if the 30 spaces available in Sainsburys actually need to be pre booked, you might want to contact the club, but if you can get in there it's a lot closer than parking at white Hart lane. I would send them an email to find out what you can do if it's just a 1 off [email protected]

Still fuming about that prick in the Millwall goal, his flappy moment with the final kick of the game cost me seeing the first ever game at our new stadium. Twat.

Makes most sense for levy I guess as will mean a spike in membership sales for extra revenue as purple like me scramble to get a membership to buy a(hopefully) a ticket for the first game.

More to lose though as could be a complete waste of £45 if I don't get one ?

I'm not handing the club £45 just to join an online queue, only to discover an hour later that the match has sold out.

Are the any plans for the the exterior of the stadium to have Tottenham Hotspur Football Club written? Think it would add further identity.

Any excuse to get out of work early, I wanna get to the stadium atleast two hours before kick off. Shouldn't be an issue leaving work a bit early, however my boss is a United fan so he could be a **** about it.

I'd suggest booking the day off, telling him you've a doctors/dentist appointment on that day and I doubt he will believe you, throw a sickie and same again and guarantee your get caught on screen

At least someone benefitted, I was absolutely gutted. You can imagine how I felt at 2-0 :banghead:
Chin up mate. At 2-0 I was consoling myself with the thought that the CL QF under the lights was going to be the real baptism of the stadium anyway, and I would be there for that.

Cheers, that's what I'm consoling myself with now, plus it could be worse as the reason I can't make the first game is cos I'll be in NYC and then Vegas.

Much easier to just pretend the game doesn’t exist if you are out of the country on holiday.

Although I feel for you as I was in the same position as well, but just the reverse.

This was a scheduled Sky TV game.

On another note when you look back to MR Av footage of mid September it makes you realise how totally ludicrous the claims were that it could have possibly hosted 62k people. And don’t give me the ready/finished nonsense there weren’t even any pavements.

if you read the whole of the THST meeting report, they said they would of tarmacked the area instead of using paving

Interesting that they told the Trust they didn't think the opening ceremony could be before the Palace game because of fans not being able to get there from work in time. I wonder if there's a chance we ask for an unusual 8.30 kick-off time or something to make it feasible? Would still be earlier getting out than after a midweek cup game that went to ET and Penalties so I can't see any fundamental reason it'd be impossible. Then you could have a ceremony start at 7 or 7.30 which is doable for most.
