The club wouldn't have announced dates for the first game if they weren't extremely confident that the test games would be a success.

I’m sad I will miss the first test event as I’m at a gig... but I was lucky enough to go to the fan familiarisation event previously. So I can wait until the second test event!

Especially after the debacle with the first announcement for the Liverpool game. Levy would not have liked that humiliation.

Personally yes as I would prefer a weekend game for the first one just to make a massive day out of the occasion.

Although if it’s on a Wednesday maybe I will just take a half day at work

If Brighton lose in fa cup we play on the Sunday but if the champ lge first leg is on the following Tuesday, Brighton will have to move to the sat. Luckily there is a spare place for a 1730 KO on the Sat for it to be televised. Man City have the 1230 KO . Presume Sky or BT will want to show it.

West Ham's new stadium passed the test and some of their stands were placed on bricks and held together with gaffer tape and cable ties.
