I don't think it's worth people being too despondent just yet, most of the ITKers have been positive that there's some movement along with Poch having a positive press conference, this late in the window it's a great thing, it's just not the names we had but it still feels like there's something happening for us.

In terms of transfer funds we are skint, we only spend what we earn and the 11m we got for Dembele isn’t enough to buy anyone. Massive shame that’s how we operate but if we as fans go into the window accepting it it lessens the blow when we don’t sign.

We’re not, they said back in October we made something like £100m profit. We’re skint in terms of transfer funds though.

So today’s skint is yesterday’s £100m, the day before’s £150m? In reality can’t even afford a wheelbarrow.

I've always thought this has been the case for a while regardless of the ITK we've had to suggest otherwise, hence never saw anyone coming in this window. We've sold Dembele but for small amount in this market so not sure we have many options with that type of money.
I actually imagine we will be restricted financially in the summer window to however beginning to think we will generate money from a substantial sale or two (Eriksen and Alderweirald imo as things stand) and then use those funds to add to the squad.

It’s the same old stuff every season, the key is once you’ve experienced it for a couple of years you no longer get excited or ride the rollercoaster. We’re either genuinely after someone and filling the media with fake news (links to randomers, skint etc) to cover what we’re actually up to or we’re actually skint and/or the owners are prepping us to be sold. We’ve more positive than negative ITK lately with added comments from Poch that we’re looking to bring in players. Until we see an actual new signing(s) in a Spurs shirt then there’s no need to get excited or to get our knickers in a twist prior to the window closing.
