This is why transfer windows are my favourite time of the year.
It’s like watching a game show where the question is, “when someone says player ‘x’ is a good player what do they mean?”
A) The person making the statement thinks player ‘x’ is a good player
B) The manager thinks player ‘x’ is a good player
C) The club thinks player ‘x’ is a good player.
D) The club thinks the player isn’t good enough.
So I get to sit back and witness the mental gymnastics as people twist themselves into somehow picking option D.

Do you not realise that we are largely where we are by signing players from other clubs? Most of our best players are foreigners.
It isn't possible to sustain our league position or improve it just by promoting youth. We NEED to sign top players from outside. It's just simple common sense.
