I don’t have the hump, nor mind why you disagreed. You don’t have to justify your ratings, especially to me.

I wasn’t going to be as obstinate in my reply, but the sneering at those by those who don’t see a problem wound me up.
Come on mate, of course we see a problem, my issue is the same posters saying the same thing in every single thread, and now getting the ‘I told you’ moment.

We should have strengthened, part of it Levy’s fault and part of it Pochs fault. We’ll never know because ITK’s conflict in this.

But for all of the people we could have bought, we could never have accounted for all of the shit luck we’ve had on the injury front this season.

Must be the last warning to Poch and Levy: you can not rely on Kane to play in every game all season. There will always be a moment when he gets injured and miss 6-8 weeks.

Honestly think both Spurs and England need to manage Kane's game time better to protect him a bit more.

If this had happened last week we could’ve made a cheeky bid to take Defoe on loan for a couple of months :sneaky:

Gutted for Kane. Even more gutted that Son isn’t around. The only positive is that Kane gets a much needed rest. Meanwhile, there must be someone decent we can loan for a while.
It’s the same rest he gets every season. If he didn’t pick up these injuries he’d have been playing weekly for about 4 seasons now.

Personally think it’s madness to completely write off Janssen but that’s Poch for you.

Lamela as a false 9 if we don’t go with Llorente? He’s done it before successfully.

Just need to get out on the pitch and start doing a bit. All this negative news we get from the club lately does nobody any favours. Games put all the chat to bed...hopefully!

Of course, they can make the situation worse!

I’ve resigned us to being out the league cup and champions league pretty much anyway so anything there is a massive bonus. Just need to get top 4 going again and hopefully progress in FA Cup

Probably not going to win the Championship League, but if Son is fit for the Dortmund games, I am happy with him playing CF for those games. He has a great scoring record against them, going back to his time in Germany. Sure, we would be stronger with Kane in the team, but I still think we can progress against Dortmund without him.

Let's hope Kane will be fit and ready to bang in a few against Arsenal!

Like Fergie, Poch needs the attitude of players to be all or nothing. It’s successful but not perfect.

Well not buying anyone is relevant to our depth issues, that we're currently suffering at several positions now..

Feel free to put me on ignore buddy.
You're not wrong that it's relevant, dtx, but that's not the same as being germane to the situation.

It's in the past, it is immutable. What does airing it over and again solve? Nothing. Does it have any further effect on the current situation or change our approach to it? No.

So, as @mattyspurs says, airing it provides little of value.

Probably 15 people have come in and said the same as I.

All you do is complain, about every thing. I can understand being frustrated, but it's 24/7. Change the record or perhaps just get a copypasta at the ready?

Has he? When? Genuine question

I keep hearing this often, but I think it doesn't matter a shit if he scored against them many years ago! It's not like time has stopped in Germany and Son can keep on scoring against them like nothing changed. It's a different team and different times, for both.

There's an ignore button for a reason. I certainly take advantage of it, you all should as well.

The reality is there are some great things about the club, those are boring to talk about and there isn't much to discuss about how great Kane, Jan, Toby, Eriksen, Son, Dele are. How amazing of a coach Poch is, how good Rose is when he's healthy, etc.

The bad stuff is what leads to discussion... hence where I post. I post after games about how amazing Toby & Eriksen are but there aren't 5 pages that follow that stuff.

The most active player thread is Kane (because of bad stuff) and Trippier (because of bad stuff). No idea where the Dele thread is, or take notice how theres rarely activity in the Eriksen player discussion.

Im normally a glass half-full kind of guy, but this feels bad to me. We were already badly depleted and now this plus possibly Sissoko. I dont see a happy ending without adding players, something we rarely do in January.

This is going to ruin my fantasy league team o_O

Dreadful news. Terrible timing

Maybe we can still get a cup result away to Chelsea, but a final without him would be so disappointing on the ‘what if we had Kane’ front. Perhaps Aguero, Jesus, sane, Sterling, Silva, Silva, De Bruyne and Mahrez will also be injured by the end of feb.

Long term I wonder if this willl be good for us?? Every cloud and all that. Possibly it gives Levy a kick up the back side to balance the squad with top 4quality. We can do this with young talent of course but Only Llorente as an attacking bench option has been poor. Now he’s starting. Hells bells. Didn’t we see this coming 18 months ago?

Get well soon Harry.
