Back four were very good. Winks gave one of his better defensive displays in front of them.

Great to know we can pull out a performance like that on a big occasion. 3 wins in a row against the dirty blue scum. 2nd leg is another chapter, got to be happy with tonight.

Thought Trippier deserves special praise as he’s had a lot of grief this season and one slip up tonight would have seen him (and probably anyone who made an error) get absolutely slaughtered.
Yeah credit to trips lots of good work going the other way tonight.

Cup semi final against our most hated rival and a lot of players just weren’t at the gates today. Absolutely pathetic and lucky to get a win.

Are you the type who complains that we’re not resilient enough when we lose against big clubs having dominated the game?

Not even after ET?
It used to be that in the case of a draw it goes to ET, and then the AG count.
You're not wrong in Chelsea needing three if we get a goal. In the Carabao, there's no away goals rule and no extra time. If the score is level at the end of the tie, it goes straight to penalties.

Great defence work tonight. They were all over us in the second half, yet again, Poch makes no subs until the 74th minmute. COYS!!!!

An ugly first leg win but a win all the same, we defended very well and didn't make the mistake of giving too many silly free kicks just outside the d. It's a well worn cliché but it's only half time. We will have to be much better than that in the midfield at SB in the second leg, far too often they outnumbered us in the middle of the park and our out ball kept going to a blue shirt time and time again. To end on a positive, I thought it was one our best defensive displays of this season.

Made mistakes yes. But you questioned whether I'd actually ever drank and driven when I was younger which I answered. Its also quite a worrying question to be asked in all honesty

Unless you are 25 or under drink driving was all ways going on when Me and my friends were of driving age ( not by me I might add, didn’t learn to drive till I was older).
Like I say I’m not condoning it but let’s not treat him like a murderer
