Such a good performance from Dele today. One of our most important players.

I think after last year and his average summer performances, he seems to have come back into this team as a man. Really mature performances of late. Leading the team as well. Think he has been great these last few months.

When is it time to set unrealistic expectations about 2 signings in Jan and a new stadium leading us to a full title tilt?

36 - Tottenham’s tally of 36 points from 16 games is their best ever start to a Premier League season; indeed, only twice before have they had a better total after 16 matches in a top-flight campaign (46 in 1960-61 and 37 in 1956-57 – based on three points for a win). Impressive.

That was a thoroughly professional performance, all the while playing within ourselves.

Nothing to lose on Tuesday, all guns blazing.

That was impressive in a lot of ways. Leicester are not crap and we were away, but we defended them to death and they scarcely got a sniff.

Dele is the obvious MotM, by more then a whisker from Son, but really our defence deserves a collective MotM award, because of the organised, collected and resolute way they handled the Leicester break. The switching between a back 3 and a back 4 worked seamlessly and there were scarcely any frantic moments. Plus we got to give Kane & Eriksen a relaxing evening run-out with minimal pressure.

We've squeaked a lot of results this season, home and away, based on moments of individual or collective quality, but this was just convincing all-round. Not a brilliant match, but a thoroughly professional team effort in a difficult situation - especially given today's earlier results.

Very happy with the win, especially with the Goons and Chelscum winning today. If we had lost, people would say we had "bottled" it etc. Teams like Everton, Leicester, Watford are difficult games away from home and we were untroubled.

Also good that we managed to rest a couple of players and that he trusted KWP for the last 15 minutes. Hopefully he does give KWP a few more opportunities especially against the weaker league sides at home. S'ton at home was an opportunity missed.

If we're no more than 6 points off the top going into the new ground...

Professional job done again. Just gonna be another few days of linking our manager and players to other clubs and pointing out the stadium isn’t finished instead of calling us shit.

Magnificent win. Had banana skin written all over it, no pun intended.

Just checked the Barca score, both Messi and Suarez played, so hopefully they are planning on resting them against us
