Hello all.
I am a Northampton Town fan (Cobblers!!....yes I know) making my first post with your moderators blessing to ask for a show of support from you guys to a fellow Spurs fan.

My mate, Jonna, who I've known for over 50 years has recently been diagnosed with non-Hodkin lymphoma which is a type of blood cancer.The prognosis is good but his treatment is pretty arduous as I'm sure you can imagine.

A group of 12 old school and team mates are walking from Wembley Stadium to White Hart Lane (in honour of Jon's beloved Spurs) on Saturday 10th November to raise funds for Bloodwise, the blood cancer charity formerly known as Leukaemia Research. The walk is 'only' twelve miles but I'm sure there'll be a lot of pubs on the way so it's going to be a very long day.

We have set up a Just Giving page (all donations go directly to Bloodwise) and hoped that it would lift his spirits if a few of you could donate a pound or two. Jon knows about the Just Giving page but not about this request so hopefully he will be surprised and proud if any Spurs fans could help.

We have called the walk; 'A Jaunt for Jonna'. https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/jaunt-for-jonna

Thank you. I'll leave you all to concentrate on the Premiership as I concentrate on trying to keep away from the foot of League Two!

Cobbl... Oh. Spoilsport.

Few quid stuck in the pot. I’d any of you are trained labourers bring your work boots and a paint brush with you. There’s work to be done on the new ground. Best of luck (y)

Thank you very much to those who have taken the trouble to donate so far. It is very much appreciated.

Come on you Spurs! Up the Cobblers!

Thank you to those of you have already helped us by donating. We are now getting very close to £2000.

Once we get to the building site that should be your new ground we are going to need a celebratory drink (not that we won't have had a few on the way!) Any guidance to the nearest decent pub to THFC would be greatly appreciated.

If you'd like to make a donation to the blood cancer charity, Bloodwise. Here is our link;

Thank you to those who helped us reach a combined total of £4778 (Just Giving, sponsorships & collections).

We'd love to make £5000 so if you can help us we'd really appreciate it.

The walk was completed the day you played Palace so you may remember it rained heavily from early afternoon so it all ended very soggy but spirits lifted by a lengthy stop at the Beavertown Brewery!
